The brand itself is immoral tbh, selling snake oil to people who are vulnerable and just looking to cure their hair loss. It sadly doesn’t shock me that the owner would behave this way towards another person and try to strike them where it hurts :(

I was like 😮 and then literally the next day, Paiges video popped up and I immediately DMed Kitti 😂 I was like this is getting so weird, considering Jeanette can't even write a decently constructed email, she certainly has managed to snag herself a lot of creator clients 🤭

I didn’t really care about the boyfriend drama in the sense that I felt for everyone in the situation and felt that we should have never known about any of that to begin with but this? This is sh*tty and mean spirited, it’s a photo… and yeah it’s pretty compelling but it’s not going to make or break Jens business… her lack of respect and compassion will.

Legalities aside - the fact that they couldnt just respect you, respect the fact that they are willingly and knowingly sharing images of a woman who has passed away and taken those images down is disgusting. It speaks volumes about them as a business and their ethics.
I hope your solicitor asks for the fully signed releases for the images. Because I'm sure there are none!!! God Gen is really being so hurtful towards your family 😢

Even I was tricked by Jen to believe she was a good person and I feel the ick from being an affiliate of a company that would exploit the loss of a loved one to sell products. Having been to her home, celebrated her birthday, and loved on Yogi, there was NO WAY for me to anticipate her actions. There was NO WAY you could have either.

Imagine having literally no heart to keep that shit up… unreal Paige.
As someone who fought for years for a doctor to listen to me, it took me 2 years of daily constant nausea, frequent bouts of dry heaving, and stabbing abdominal pain to be sent to a GI specialist where I was finally given an edoscopy and subsequent answers. I now have also finally been diagnosed with POTS after complaining of symptoms for years.
One piece of advice I recieved too late was: demand that a doctor put in writing that they are denying you the test you are asking for and ask for copies of it to keep for your files. That way a medical malpractice suit is very possible if it turns out it was something like cancer and was allowed to progress. Doctors dont want that, so theyll usually begrudgingly order the test for you. And if you can please find another doctor if the one you have isnt listening to you, dont do what i did. You deserve to be listened to, if you feel something isnt right with your health but your fears are brushed off, please dont listen to them. Its always best to listen to your instincts and ask for further testing just in case. You know your body best. ❤

How do I get tested for pots
@gillypiexo I was sent to a cardiologist who luckily was wonderful and immediately gave me a heart monitor to wear for two weeks and scheduled an echocardiogram to make sure that it was POTs and wasn't something else, but the main test is a tilt table test. They strap you to a table and then raise it so that you're in a standing position while they monitor your heart rate and blood pressure. I passed out after 4 minutes standing which is a "positive" result meaning that yeah I got POTs (assuming that there isn't also a contributing issue like atrial fibrillation or something actually wrong with your heart). It's still hard even with a diagnosis trying to find the right treatment plan, but usually the first step is drinking copious amounts of water and intaking lots and lots of sodium. I have nadolol to help keep my heart rate down since I'm super symptomatic as well as needing to drink 64+ ounces of water and putting a pinch of salt in literally everything. Liquid IV (Walmart has a cheaper dupe that I use) is also very good for POTs issues.

I'm not sure where you are based but in the UK we have a public health system and it works a bit different than in the US. Referrals for specialists can be incredibly hard to get and you can wait MONTHS (in my case, I was given an appointment over a YEAR from going to a doctor with my symptoms and it wasn't my first time with these symptoms.) Also I'm pretty sure here you can't just sue the NHS - it is part of the government. I had to see a private specialist to make any progress and that is something most people can't afford. Paige's story about her aunt is probably familar to a lot of people in the UK dealing with the NHS trying to make progress with a chronic or ongoing health issue. Women and POC especially describe difficulty in being taken seriously.
@lucyjane3803 Ah yeah, thank you for mentioning that. I'm in the US, I forget that the legal system is pretty different- especially for civil cases like malpractice. (And tbh i didnt even register that it would have likely been the UK) Still though I'd assume it's always good to have documentation for your own records and might still work to get them to do the test if your more pushy about it (which I know is MUCH easier said than done).
In the US we often have to wait for months too, especially depending on your insurance. Right now, they tell me its a $20 copay and then send me a bill a week later saying I owe them nearly $200... for a follow-up appointment 🥲 no labs, no med change, a 10 minute conversation. Oh and just my pcp: $120 every 3 months, assuming everything is still good. And that doesn't even factor in how much my husband and I pay the insurance company every month 😭
I'm convinced the medical system is literally designed to mimick what hell would be like 😅 Some hells are worse than others but they are all full of bs. I wish there were more options for recourse when a doctor refuses to listen. It's honestly so sad, and I don't know why these people become doctors when they seem to absolutely hate the work which is like 80% listening and 20% narrowing down what it could be other than just saying literally everything is "just anxiety" or "just being a person with female anatomy". It's so frustrating and we deserve better.

I can’t believe JC, even if they HAD purchased the copyright, you’d think out of decency and respect for your Aunty they’d remove the images. I feel for her bc when that shady dude starts to reveal his true nature she won’t have any friends to help her pick up the pieces. Nick and Dustin may have stuck their noses in her business a little too much but their initial intentions seemed to be out of genuine concern for their friend.

There is stuff you can find online that this is the same lawyer that Lauren the Mortician is using, yes the person that received their letters in that case had the same initial thoughts and looked it all up. The person is a lawyer, how good she is I don't know. Do know that this person ended up with a welfare check though as a part of it. So the lawyer is good at dirty tactics if nothing else.

Hey Paige, I also just lost my aunt and godmother to cancer. Her funeral was only last week and the pain is so so real. My cousin who has now lost her mom is also my best friend, and watching her go through this breaks my heart so much. I lost my brother, both of my parents, then an uncle and had a miscarriage very close together, and had no other family to lean on, and it really is like being steamrolled by grief, you're at your most vulnerable and desperate for real ones to support you in the right ways bc there's no way but *through* it. First time seeing your channel but I’m deeply saddened by your situation. Since 2020 I lost my grandma my great grandma and my mom. I think this is a no brainer situation for Gerard to just take it down. If they don’t then they are a vile company that I would never ever give my money to no matter how good they are. This doesn’t seem like something you can fault yourself for, no matter how tempting. You sent her the photos but it was her choice not to receive permission but use it for advertising anyway when she should have known better.

When I saw the images of the reply from your mom, I knew it was a scary tactic.
Odds are Gejard is likely try to find a way for this not to go to court since you did your diligence to show PLENTY of evidence of you being the owner of the photos so I would be careful, Paige!
Also another commenter said it but if the company goes under, that is the Owner's fault for their poor behavior and not yours.

Baker - a huge RUclipsr (attorney) in the Legal community ... the fact that Emily has partnered with Jenn (I guess because she didn't realize that Jenn allegedly lacks integrity and character and just goodwill... ) is highly ironic ... I considered hair a.f. for my mom as she struggles with hair loss. I will not purchase knowing this is how jen treats her former friends requests. Especially when dealing with a passed loved one. I lost my father in May and i can't imagine going through something like this! I'm so sorry Paige. For the passing of your beautiful Auntie and for being treated this way by a former "friend."

Her product should speak for itself. If she needs your Aunt’s photos so badly so convince people the product works, she must not have confidence it works so well. Just get someone else to try the product out and take photos? I don’t understand why she wouldn’t just take the photos down. So sorry Paige.

I literally don't see the logic of keeping the image, like it can't be that integral to their marketing and they have other images. Like its literally common sense to just take them off and call it a day, its not worth any court stuff.
And they're ruining their brand recognition. I didn't know anything about them before. Now I do, and it's clear to me they're not a business I would support moving forward if this is how they treat customers and people they considered friends. Truly sad.

My niece and nephews lost their dad, my brother, in 2011, and their mom and sister a month apart from separate incidents in 2017. I'm the closest to them, and although they're young adults now, I often take on a motherly role and have since their loss. My heart goes out to your mother for taking on that role as it's not easy and probably less easy to young ones. I really hope Jen does the right thing so you all can close that chapter. 💜

I do small business marketing and for one company we post pictures we take of customers sometimes. We had someone months later ask for us to delete the picture and we did no questions asked. I don't see why she refuses to take the picture down. It is evil.
