Tornado wasn't supposed to summon an actual asteroid, the asteroid was supposed to be a flashback of the lizard while Tornado 'merely' dropped a mountain on it. Which is the reason she cannot just drop asteroid on the alien ship- she is powerful, but not that powerful. And there is no mountain in the vicinity.

The final boss ill probably look like 'The Truth' from FMA just a blank shape with a mouth to spatter off one liners.
If you dont believe me... just look at the S class. Pig God, Furry man, Gym bro, Way too tan BodyBuilder bro, Gay Muscle man Bro, ambiguous gender ninja, tiny temper tantrum girl... not as cool as half the A, B or C class in terms of cool design.

But urging him on to become someone that is worthy. He's a really "morality" based character. Respect is earned in the Hero association and Saitama has almost none so far lol. Even Puri-puri Prisoner was KO'd when Saitama destroyed the Sea King. But he's kind to him.
It's not that it's filler, it was a misinterpretation. Tats was supposed to crush him under a regular big rock that would've been nearby, which would prompt the Ancient King to have a flashback of the meteor that killed the rest of his species. The meteor you see in the anime coming towards Earth was supposed to be a memory of the Ancient King of the meteor that killed the dinosaurs. Although Tats could definitely control a meteor of that size, she cannot just summon them from space. So it's just a mistake on the studio's part that made it look like that.
