Welsh cakes are good at Christmas but they can be eaten year-round, too.

As a Scandinavian, that knitted sweater look is what i am going for.
And i will combine it with the ”Nordic Heritage” tartan and others.
Turns out my card was especially made to only work in East Berlin Trabant stores.
As soon as i got a proper card i will finally order.
It would be cool if you somehow could get the guy behind ”Dellenkilten” on the show ( one can dream ).
The tartan is as far as i know for Delsbo, Sweden ( probably a bit like an unofficial district tartan ).
The ”Dellen” in the tartan name is after two lakes in Delsbo, Hälsingland: Northern and Southern Dellen.
The tartan colors are based on the local folk costume.

When I bought a great kilt, I opted for my mother's clan tartan because my father's family isn't Scottish.

+USAKiltsOfficial *Concerning Question 16 (Time **1:10:52**), I'd suggest buttons on the "corners" o' the inside waistband* (viz., the bound apron sides and both rear flanks) *- H-braces are a workaround when the wearer's mobility-limited.* (Y-braces are 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 meant for 𝘛𝘳𝘪𝘶𝘣𝘩𝘢𝘴.)

      *Addition:*
Time 2:10:45 "What should the Kilts & Culture battle cry be?"
Concur with Rocky's proposal for the Belt annulus, albeit stylized:
"DOWN WI' PANTS - UP WI' KILTS"
Time 2:11:16 "What would be the name and gimmick of a Scottish _He-Man and the Masters of the Universe_ character?"
Alpean Mac Alpein: _Feiladh mór_ for daily dress, a cross-guarded broadsword and spike-bossed targe for arms.

Battle cry: Be a man, wear a kilt!
He-man character name for a big bushy red bearded guy: Fire Beard
His schtick: he's a communications expert, but when he's not trying to communicate he has a stereotypical Scottish speech pattern

Barefoot in a kilt is probably historic.

@2:58 re: Shane (Sean?) McGowan of The Pogues dying. I’m sorry. And, my husband has been a Pogues fan. He has an ancient Pogues concert tee shirt, now full of holes but he still wears it occasionally: “Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash.” Thanks for this episode, y’all! 🙏. In regard to the question about jacket length with a kilt or kilted skirt: I just received my first kilted maxi skirt from USA Kilts. It’s 30 inches (mid calf) long, and my big concerns for a flattering ensemble is having a short top/sweater to wear over it. Something that ends close to my waist makes becoming proportions, to balance the long skirt. A longer top would make me look like the long rectangle Eric mentioned. I love wearing my kilted skirt! It’s the bomb! 😀

If a pleated skirt* is hung in a closet next to THE kilt, can the pleated skirt get pregnant?
Second question---when you hear the attempted joke "What do transvestites wear in Scotland?" what would your rejoinder consist of? Subjects for a whole other video to explore. Factoid---the editorial writer was a Scot, in the New York Times, May 27, 1876, page 6 column 6 "A Curious Disease" on the subject of women wearing pants!** Do any of you realize that social forces, not gender, have caused who wears single tube leg garments, versus who wears twin tube leg garments? It all traces to who rode a horse, and who did not. Women can and do get a bra monopoly all day long. *What the Greeks and Albanians wear is pleated across the front and they do not regard that fact as any evidence that the costume is female. **In AD 393 by order of Theodosius I, men in pants were exiled from Rome and their property confiscated, reaffirmed in AD 423. The order stemmed from the defeat in AD 378 of the Romans at the Battle of Adrianople---they were defeated by trousered cavalrymen. But it was the use of horses, not the wearing of twin tube leg apparel, that defeated the Romans. How many men go about today on horses? Any psychiatrists? I had a social worker tell me if a man wears THE kilt occasionally, he saw little if any issue with it BUT that if he started wearing it all the time in all situations, then he would see a "mental" syndrome with it. Some people equate social conformity with the normal function of the heart and lungs!
