I have just returned from having stayed in Manzanillo for four months. I have visited there three times in the past. It is definitely my preferred destination in Mexico. Your video actually showed the place where I lived. That was indeed a surprise and much appreciated, having left it only two weeks ago. Thank you for the delightful coverage you gave to a favourite Mexican location. May it always remain the precious, peaceful place for a tranquil vacation.

I have family in this area so Manzanillo is a no-brainer for vacations. I love this part of Mexico and spending time with my family.

Totally agree with your comparison to the Amalfi coast in Italy from the pictures I’ve seen of it. Love Manzanillo. Been going there since I was a kid with my parents in the late 70’s - early 80’s. My wife and I come there twice a year now. Tacos Palominos are some of the best in Manzanillo. Juanito’s was a great choice for breakfast as well.

Great video! How can we forget Bo Derek in 10? I think I saw 10 once loooong time ago with my parents and I still remember how beautiful she looked in the movie (Manzanillo). By the way, she hasn't been seen for sometime now. I think that 10 put Manzanillo in the map and the Las Adas hotel. I read once that the hotel has an interesting history. Thank you for reminding us.
Also, Colima must be a big coconut producer for having so many palm trees:) and a huge fishing town hence huge statue of the Marlin. Thanks!
Omg now I’m totally gonna have to watch it too 📺🍿 Manzanillo gave me major 80s vibes; would love to see how it looked in all of its glory when most of its beautiful resorts must have been buzzing.
Haha you’re right about that! Second largest coconut producer in Mexico 🥥🥥 And yes, that huge metal statue honors the town’s favorite sport: fishing! 🐠🐟 It’s called Monumento al Pez Vela. It’s a sailfish; but locals call it “el camarón” - the shrimp 😊

l just found you and subscribed. Much of Mexico is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS ! l visited several times when l was younger and had a secret wish to live there. But the gov't corruption and the crime spoils it all for me. Very sad.. as l feel that there is no nicer environment in the world.. and LOTS of it ! The art, culture, history, architecture, food, music, climate is FAR superior to anything l've seen elsewhere in this world, including the United States. THANk YOU !

Wow, your vidio on Manzanillo brought back years of great memories spending over 20 extended Christmas vacations with local friends we had met over the years. Manzanillo is, or was, an important stop for sailing ships to load up on a very special salt to bring back to Europ and other destinations. Las Hadas was built on an incredibly beautiful little bay where we used to spend days water skiing in the early 60's. My wife and I will spend this coming winter in La Paz but in 2023 we will center around Manzanillo. Thanks for sharing.

If you go back to the city of Colima you must eat at El Charco de la Higuera - Best enchiladas I have ever had in my life.

Im 83 and want to pend my time looking all over Mexio Ive been on both coasts All of the Baja. Up in the Mountains Ive yet to go to Merida and Pueblo Maybe next month

Hola Vicky! Nosotros veníamos de Puerto Vallarta; de regreso a GDL de Manzanillo tomamos la carretera de pago. No me acuerdo exactamente cuanto fueron todas las casetas, pero si nos ahorramos mucho tiempo comparado con la libre. No hay muchas curvas y solo una parte muy corta tiene un solo carril.
@@ClauChasesColors Volar de Guadalajara a Manzanillo es lo mejor...Usar transporte local es lo mejor para brincar de un Pueblo a Otro... 2 semanas minimum to take all in... There's a lot (I mean Lots) more in Colima than just the Beach.

Comala, El Pueblo Blanco de America... My Abuelo Nacio en Comala en los !930s...
Mi Abuelo me dijo que Comala fue muy bonito antes delos 1970s, Calles limpias y empedradas, solamente 3 calles por un lado del rio y 2 calles por el otro lado del rio y ningun carro o trafico en las calles.
Yo visite Comala solo una vez, y crecio mucho... Solo me imagino el Comala que mi Abuelo me dijo.😻

How is the best way to transport from Vallarta to las hadas Manzanillo? 🤔 any service who provide the driving ?
Driving there yourself is the fastest option (about 4 hrs), however there are buses available also from PV and that would take closer to 6 hrs to arrive 🚌🙂
Manzanillo was the best beach spot back in the 80’s it is a very different vibe now.
We enjoyed that it wasn’t crowded like most beach spots. I’d definitely go back 🌊🌊
My favorite places there in Manzanillo is definitely tacos palomino..juanitos I do not agree I tried ther food ,no flavor
Other places is el Vaquero..good food there

Ha true! Not so peaceful if you’re surfing 🏄♂️ I found it peaceful based on the absence of tourists. It felt nice and quiet compared to PV 🌺🌴
What about criminal activity? Is it true theres a lot of drug dealers and so on..
