I was born in manzanillo but I grew up in Baja California but I remember very tropical lots coconut palm trees bananas trees papayas trees simply beautiful.
I’m finding through my research and videos of cities in Mexico to retire, Manzanillo is looking very good for an Expat! I’d like to visit and make that residency decision soon.
Candy, if you move the mic closer to the person you're interviewing it will sound a LOT better and it will pick up far less noise around you because you will be able to record them at a lower mic volume/sensitivity.
Manzanillo is isn't quite so hot as farther south so this also will appeal to older people. Its the reason Puerto Vallarta is chosen over the areas like Ixtapa and Acapulco. Even in the middle of winter Acapulco is just baking hot during the day. Living without air conditioning so all your windows are open, is much easier in Manzanillo than the south. Who wants to close everything up? Isn't that precisely the reason we left?
I would think Manzanillo, along with Acapulco, by being major cities, would offer a huge selection of dentistry options. Manzanzillo is significantly closer to the US as well. An implant video would be great to see covering the basic options most people seek when they come for dental tourism. Also for dental maintenance while living here. No one wants a dentist in a tourist trap like Cabo. That's just a recipe for ripoff.
Candy, if I'm a retiree with pension and social security, how would I transfer my retirement income to Mexico to have access to my funds? I would not have any family or friends to use their physical address that is required to have a U.S. bank account. Thanks
Hi. There is a place in Texas set up for RVer's to have an address. It's best to leave the money in the US because the dollar to date has been more stable..I'll look but you look too.
I can't stand it here!!! Heat and humidity is unbearable! I run my a/c most of the time by necessity, bill every 2 weeks is $4,500!!! Otherwise can't tolerate being in the house! Moving back to Chapala/Ajijic where the weather is glorious next month!!!
I an 52 years old and have been going there since I was a kid with my parents. My wife and I have now been going every year for the last 18 years and we love it. We’ve never had an issue.
