Arrma 4s diffs 2 for 99.00 are solid replacements. Like you, i built my 1st set. After those failed, i switched and havent lost another set since. But still a great how to video. Thanks
Yep, these Arrma Boost Kits are easy and good, but not super cheap. Aliexpress Diffs are cheaper But should be a bit lower quality. Before Arrma Diff Boost Kit it was always better to build them on your own. Now its personal choice.
I’ve got the 4S diff (cheaper off Jenny’s) in those Hot Racing yokes and I had to really work to get the bearings seated in them flush the first time, and maybe had to move my shim around. Might be what’s binding you up a bit.
i've got a pair of 4s diffs with all steel gears ready to drop into my Senton when the plastic ones fail. i 'bash' mine on a track a few times a month and only use 2s. so i imagine the plastic ones will last quite some time, but i'd rather have the spares ready to go than have to go home for the day sooner than expected. i am tempted to get aluminum yokes for them though.
This Typhon that I do the upgrade on is OLD and these were the stock diffs. It finally stripped them after YEARS of abuse and then a stronger motor. It literally may not have been broken...but just worn down! :)
Not true. Arrma Boost Diff with 2 metal diffs is around 100 Dollar/85Euro. Thats Arrma 4s v2 spec then, and thats absolutly ok for 3s on the lighter Arrma 1/10 3s Line.

Hey if you happen to know Terry M the helicopter guy tell him George said hello Tater!
I am sorry - I have no idea who you are talking about.
200$ set of diff's. They better solve the problem. Have them on my outcast 4s.

$200? Where do you get that number? I didn't even spend half of that...
The Hot Racing set up for 3s and 4s trucks are a 100$ a piece. How do l know this? I have them on my 4s outcast.
@runnerbaba yeah the crappy stocks units are a100$.
If you say so. Not suitable for my 4s outcast that I run a 6s blx motor on . I chew them up like cheese through a cheese grater.
