U2 did 2 shows in Toronto in 05. PJ played the next night and Bono stuck around and came out for this song during the last encore. First time ever folks! He left the stage and PJ capped it with Ledbetter. It was a night!!
Cold chills .. Eddie Vedder I love you the most beautiful voice to this day this song just rocks I love it these two sound great together and put on a good show Eddie Vedder has no bad music prriod
Matt Cameron and Jeff are the beautiful rug tying this whole thing together. Drums and bass are still a powerhouse despite three guitarists. Interesting that Adam plays a guitar on this one.
@@cacildoneto5090 Ya, they're incredible bands, but I just love everything about Pearl Jam. Like their catalogue of songs reaches from the crazy energetic stuff with songs like Go, Animal, Do the evolution, Even Flow, Deep, Leash or Once to beautiful, calm and kind of painful with tracks like Black, Dissident, Garden, Release, Oceans, or Daughter. Also 90s Eddie Vedder is probably my favourite vocalist ever, range from incredibly low to beautifully high. From gritty distortion to angelic roomy kind of singing. I just love his overall tone and his way to sing live, with that kind of anger, emotion and practically his whole body. I love Pearl Jam's drum work aswell, especially Dave Krusen's and Dave Abbruzzese's. It's kind of complex, but at the same time it just gives the song everything it asks for. Pretty much staying in the pocket and then coming around with a little bit of chops. And I love Abbruzzese's cymbal work for sure. Also I really like the drum and cymbal sounds themselves on actually any Pearl Jam album. The guitar riffs are just iconic and I can't find to words to describe that guitar tone, but I absolutely love it. Next thing are the guitar solos. I'm actually not even sure if there is a Pearl Jam track that does not have a guitar solo. Point is, they are amazing. Love the guitar tone, love the phrasing, love the licks, love the wah and love his playing. Then there's the bass, I feel like the Jeremy bass riff would already say enough, I mean c'mon, it's really catchy and the harmonics in the beginning are really cool aswell. I also am a huge fan of their lyrics and the subjects of their songs. The production is another thing I love, I can't point out what exactly it is, but the overall sounds of the first two records are just incredible, even tho they're pretty different from eachother. Okay, let me see what else... I really love the Ten album cover. I also just like these guys simply as people and I think that they're pretty good looking aswell, which has nothing to do with anything actually, but I thought it was worth mentioning. In conclusion: They're absolutely tight and unmistakable. Since I feel like there's gonna be other opinions, especially to the Pearl Jam nowadays, with everything I've mentioned I'm referring to the 90s Pearl Jam, specifically 91-94. Last thing: I'd say Rocking in the free world Pearl Jam Pinkpop 92 is the best version of that song ever. Please check it out before you say otherwise.
really they are amazing. however they are different. So, it's more prudent to say that both are amazing each with a musical style. However, if we look at the side that has the Ego and the explicit vanity, despite having more time on the fame road, Bono Vox needs to receive many years of lessons with Eddie Vedder.
Ele rouba sim.
"Okay, you guys all start the song and then I'll come strutting in like a douche bag after the first verse. I need to make a pretentious entrance, because I'm Bono."

Parece estar sempre cantando a mesma música.

I like this version too.

Vedder's Rules!!
Love Bono just walking up like it's nothing lol
So damn prophetic!!!
The Edge was tearing it up
Amazing! BRAZIL!
Bono sounds more like Ann Wilson than I realized.
🔥
i know stopping poverty is more important than anything else! BUT! Bono just steals the show!
