Hello everyone🖐 The evolution of our favorite mod is just around the corner. v0.5.0 will focus on fixing the issues from the last version. But please remember, this data pack is v0.5.0. It is not v1 or the final version. Please leave your feedback and requests for the final version in the comments section.💬
One of the mods in the description, chunky, pre loads chunks for you at your desired distance. Takes a couple minutes, based on the distance, but then you have smooth playing
I am so freaking ready for DH2 to have its multiplayer update completely, then make a world with this, extended world hight, and something like valkrian skies and just have a blast with friends. This datapack has really come a far way, the terrain is stunning as ever.
unfortunately, as insane as this datapack is, its pretty unplayable, both performance wise and just overall not very survival friendly, unless youre looking for some crazy immersive hardcore survival experience, but yeah you will NOT be running this datapack without DH ans shaders, theres no point, which means you need a top of the line pc, and even then you gotta pregenerate the world for like a day straight, which with how massive this datapack is will take up a huge chunk of space in your drive…but hey, maybe we’ll reach a point where something like this is reasonably accessible to all, this is genuinely minecraft 2 at this point xD
nah you really dont, only on 4k, im rocking these on a 4060 and a damn old i5 8400 which i havent cleaned since before the pandemic, with the 4060 you already can run these on +60 on 1080p, plus Lossless Scaling which turns your fps to 240 with the 4X option, just as DLSS 4, idk if an nvme m2 makes any difference in minecraft, but grab one anyways. and with a good cpu it would run fantastic.
This mod features real-world scale, and when you explore in Survival mode, you'll truly feel the fear of being trapped in a jungle, desert, or snow-capped mountains.
@@Raytraceforge can you release the world and LODs for the v0.4.0 world? My pc has a hard time loading in new chunks and i would like to build in that world.
Nice! I have spent the last week pre-loading a massive world with this world generation datapack for DH. Im probably at peak inanity, but the terrain is worth it.
Man I love these terrain mods. Unfortunately, my laptop can hardly manage any such mods/datapacks so I might have to stick to the base game for quite some time.
A couple of Performance mods can significantly help you play with mods of any type, mostly on fabric but a lot of options on forge too. Just browse up modrinth curse and RUclips and you’ll find some
Man, I wish world generation speeds were equivalent to Cubic Chunks and Far Plane 2 so that CPUs are significantly faster at generating chunks. It may also have the optimization of only generating chunks that are visible to us on the surface instead of generating everything underground. This optimization reduces the amount chunks that are loaded, improving chunk generation performance. Also, the mod gives the game the ability to have infinite height. Disclaimer: I’m not a game developer, I just watch game optimizations.
I'm told that 3D river generation is a difficult problem to solve. Is this mod working on that? I'd love to build little canals and locks for boats on their way to the ocean.
This data pack is developed for 1.21.1, but it is possible to port the world data to other versions after generating it thoroughly in 1.21.1, as I did.

At this point we already have Minecraft 2
imagine massive castles forming naturally filled with villagers or pillagers
Man I really wished Minecraft's performance was better and could actually generate that much chunks in realtime
Its all pre loaded, right? So it looks good when running an already explored area.

Bro that’s real minecraft2😁

@@PitulioYeah, Minecraft is very CPU and RAM dependent
i did all those mods already on a server with my cousin we played it for weeks

Yep, it’s like simulator.

For me, the most attractive thing would be having plains that are truly flat, with very gentle ups and downs
Yeah, like in Midwest
@UncleSamFreedom EXACTLY, you nailed it.
@@augustolobo2280This would be my most wanted feature in a data pack. Midwestern/NEP-esque terrain generation with plenty of winding rivers
@UncleSamFreedom we need authentic kansas terrain in minecraft
Combined with the simple clouds mod? Unrivaled beauty right there
No way this is minecraft?! I'm completely stunned beyond reason!
Looks gorgeous! I hope the mod will continue to develop!
I really want rivers that have a verticality aspect. Once that is done it will be the PERFECT datapack.

C'est incroyable. J'adore !!
I'm curious how it affects ore generation, especially compatibility with mods
i am now a Scott Buckley fan
Yesssss!🎻🥰
dude oh my lord i can't wait
shot at 1:53 blew my mind
🤩
combining this with plane mods looks like your filming in real life
Amazing🤩
I'm curious, how loong did it take to generate all the chunks and LOD data for all those different shots?
It's beautiful

WOW.
If only generating didnt take literally a day... And thats on a beefy PC. But what an absolutely crazy mod.
I'm told that 3D river generation is a difficult problem to solve. Is this mod working on that? I'd love to build little canals and locks for boats on their way to the ocean.
Seed of some of the worlds?and also GREAT WORK THIS IS MY DREAM MOD KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
What the Minecraft movie would have been if the director didn't try and be "unique"
I’d love to know what your settings on distant horizons is
jjthunder to the max vs re-terraforged vs tectonic + terralith?
You should start an smp with that data pack and the one for the nether too i would build a base millions of block out and it would be 20,000 by 20,000
JJThunder Went from amazing Reterraforged presets... To this...
Why is this worse?
how long did it take to render the world
It took my PC 18 hours🔥 Radius of 12000 blocks.
how did you make compatible iris (with shaders), chunky, DO and jjthunder?
Can I get this on my iPod touch 4 using Minecraft PE Lite?
Nope
😅
bro when is this version going to come out 0.5.0 ❤❤
How do you make it so perfect? Even with chunky when I load chunks theres alot of holes and visual bugs.
Pls try loading chunky again with exact same settings.
Wait to 5090...........
In the previous video you did a showcase of BWG, is that compatible with this mod?
What version of bliss shader do you use? Mine doesn't look like yours
Minecraft : Daggerfall
How can you render all this and how long does it take?
He said it took 18hrs to render around 12000 blocks
@JesusIsKing-x12damn
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I’ve never modded Minecraft before. How do I download this?
Does this work on 1.20.1? Preferably fabric?
generated on 1.21.1, recorded on 1.20.1, both fabric, real question is when forge
This data pack is developed for 1.21.1, but it is possible to port the world data to other versions after generating it thoroughly in 1.21.1, as I did.
How much storage space did this take up?
For me, it’s 30GB per saves📁
If I play with an RTX 3070 and 32GB of RAM, how well do you think the game would run?
where can i download that ?
love all of these but they take so long to generate even on an high-end cpu and with chunky
Is it gonna be on curseforge?
how the hell do you load this
mod map
First?
