    When these engineers left the Motogp program in 2010, they became the new team for the 2011 Gen 4 ZX10 and haven't looked back. That is why the 2011-2019 ZX10RR has been so dominant in WSBK. You see MotoGP technology does trickle down to the street level production bikes. Even if they don't come back, then Gen 6 ZX10RR will still be a front runner in its class.
    Thank you Kawasaki for making a world class litre bike that people can afford, unlike Honda, Ducati etc with their limited editions 78, 000- 120,000$ replicas. Its great that they did but unobtainable for the average rider who rides/races their bikes and not used as a showroom unicorn (Desmocidici/RCV212).

    15:17 till end (sh*t I'm gonna cry with this tearjerking background music)
    It was heartbreaking to see a new team just debut in MotoGP and an immediate failure occur on their 1st race. I know that these are unexpected turn of events but this is really depressing to watch. I might sound weird but I feel the bike was crying (with black cover) while returning back to the paddock as if it was saying "It was suppose to be my debut, but I failed" ;(
    I want to see Kawasaki be back in MotoGP, but I understand that this is very costly for them to participate (and they already dominate now in WSBK). But I believe they can compete in this category and if I'm a MotoGP rider, I will join this team to bring podiums and championships (at least in my dreams).

    • @ewennicolson4342
      @ewennicolson4342 5 лет назад +1

      @@AridaneKunOnline The money needed to stay competitive in Moto GP is ridiculous. Only Yamaha, Honda & Ducati have stuck it out in the class since 2001. The whole Moto GP/WSBK cross over has been on for a while. Aprillia made their V4 WSBK winner into a decent Moto GP mid gridder and now Ducati working back their V4 to superbike. Essentially WSBK is gonna become the arms race it was about 20-25 years ago. How much it costs will be balanced against bike sales, but face it, nobody buys Superbikes anymore.

    • @duroxkilo
      @duroxkilo 5 лет назад +1

      MotoGP just like Formula1 are part developing and part marketing grounds for the teams. Mostly marketing these days... When the cost doesn't justify the outcome it's only logical to reevaluate the strategy... That's my understanding.
      As a side-note let me say this: what is the point in developing carbon fiber brakes and rotors for millions of $ when in US for example one still has to pay close to $1000 for an ABS system? The consumer absorbs lots of the costs involved in racing (by paying for things like ABS, which should be standard on all bikes) and in the end doesn't get much in return. We basically sponsor their marketing campaigns such as MotoGP, but we're never gonna get/use the carbon brakes or dry clutches on our bikes..

    • @AridaneKunOnline
      @AridaneKunOnline 5 лет назад +2

      @@duroxkilo Carbon discs are pointless for street use because they need a significant temperature to be able to operate, so steel discs make much more sense. Same with seamless gearboxes...

    While I wish Kawasaki were still in MotoGP their departure was a rational business decision. In the years since they left costs have continued to rise, and the series' technical restrictions grown tighter. In World Superbike, for example, a manufacturer can freely develop its own electronics but MotoGP requires use of a spec ECU. I'd say MotoGP's cost to benefit ratio is even more lopsided than when they left.

    It look devilishly good. Wish could see on Motogp grid in 2020.problem with WSBK is it's real but viewership is less. Whereas Motogp is concept machine but attracts more viewership & Advertisement which makes Motogp is more successful program.On Road probably Kawasaki will be more successful these days. But due these factors the Popularity seems to be diluted. In Motogp Even if Kawasaki doesn't win any podium but still it creat lots of excitement and probably may spring few surprises should work in terms of Marketing, Now only you can see in media only talk iis about Yamaha, Honda ,Ducati, Suzuki. KTM has gained lots of attention by participating in Motogp. Though they can do good in WSBK but they understand the game how it works. Please Kawasaki Come back to Motogp

    Well,, done,,,but Kawasaki do well over all on WSBK stage and Le-Mans 24 hrs,,,
    I think Le Mans is the place where you really know which bike is the best to buy.
    Le Mans is torture for any engine,,, if you finish in top 4,,, trust me the motor of the company is good and it will last you a long time...
