Let the networking begin! Local Jeff and Parker have 2018 Kia Stinger GT2s and they are clean! We just recorded Parker's ceramic silver GT2 getting the Borla cat-back, HKS plugs and Racechip Tune. Agree! Almost out of the horrible winter here, just snowed today and it’s 33 and tomm is going to be 61 and sunny which in return is making horrible pot holes everywhere. Once that is taken care of 🎬
When people mess around with exterior mods, they should start off definitely by changing stock wheels ...
I won’t run aftermarket wheels in the winter here, the salt covered roads are now filled with massive pot holes everywhere also. It’s been a long winter and snowed a little 2 days ago
Get the factory rims powder coated gloss or satin black. Only cost me $350 to do all 4 and with some 25mm wheel spacers they look sick. I'll put a video up once I get the rest of my mods installed. I skipped the carbon fiber and blacked out all the chrome on my red gt2. Carbon looks great, I just wanted to save the money for other stuff and black looks sick too.
If those are winter setups, then I totally get it - thought those were summer wheels. Anyways, great video, mate! :)
@@mattaboutenglish8217 yeah and the options are endless on those, debating a blacked out or gunmetal look. I also like the bronze on black. Also debating size : performance ratios

I hope you blow my guy, I got my 2022 GT2 Scorpion a few months ago w/ a muffler delete and K&N Cold air intake. I hope to get a tune soon I have the HKS spark plugs just not installed yet.

Only cf I have on mine is the seibon duck bill deck lid. Just purchased the cf mirrors and cf fuel door. Think it will look nice against the micro blue.
Yeah for sure! That rear deck is fire 🔥 esp paired with the rear garnish cap. I bet it would look good on the black Stinger too
I don't get the whole wiglet look? Looks like cheap stuff added onto the car. I'm more used to ground effects parts that are more integrated. Looks cleaner without them imo. Is that more of an import thing?
So I have the 2022 Stinger GT2 Scorpion Edition. Are there mods for that? That hood on the Ceramic Silver (same color I have) is LIFE!!! I would love to upgrade mine!! What city/state you guys are in?
Yeah man you can mod that the same, yours comes with a spoiler though so I wouldn’t touch that tbh it distinguishes it as a scorpion. Mod away!

Does that gray Kia stinger have a carbon fiber hatch? These have hatches right they don’t just have a simple trunk?
Yeah it's a hatch , “sport back " like Audi S7 its hatch like but most actual hatchbacks have more height room ,,the glass and trunk like shape rob ya of a little bit of room but not much plus since this car is so much longer than any real hatchback you gain the room back in length/depth of the trunk ,,, I went from a Focus ST to Stinger gt2 rwd aaaaand it'll be very difficult to beat this car with whatever I get next as far as looks speed and luxury features for the price
Does anyone know where you can get the cover for the air intake behind the front wheels? Been looking everywhere and can't seem to find it =/ Hate that stones get caught in there and it can potentially scratch the side of the car.
Good question, that seems like a good invention for someone with a 3D printer. I would post on the Facebook stinger group, someone may have thought of it, or a Google search

How are you liking the car? I’m thinking about getting one used
Love the car, great value (speaking for myself $43k brand new in 2021) for the base GT. If I were to buy one used I would do your diligence looking it over and the history of ownership, I wouldn’t want to get one from someone like me. As messed up as that sounds I’m just keeping it real. As far as ownership though, minor complaints like interior rattles and a weak clear-coat on the paint. Everything else has been amazing and it’s pretty easy to work on
I spent months trying to find a GT couldnt find anywhere near me for sale. ENded up getting a 2.0.
Yeah every time I go to my dealership, there no GT’s on the lot. Guy said they sell before they arrive almost , crazy . You plan on modding the 2.0?

Intake and some hks plugs.swapped out the boring 2.0 vent for the gt vent.and did a badge delete.lots more wanna do like jb4 and few others.seems gt gets more love then 2.0 for aftermarket stuff lol im a disabled vet tho to so it takes me time to save up for each mod lol

Have you stopped by a local muffler shop? Most will do custom tips and weld them. Will not only look amazing with help reduce drone significantly. Will prob be around $150-$200 I would guess
you should swap a Stinger engine into a Telluride, it would be sick!!

@@twn2rbo I live in Australia, we only have rear wheel drive in the V6 twin turbo and it's just called the GT. We don't have GT1 or GT2. I got Deep Chroma Blue, which is a colour not available in the US and red leather interior. I bought mine in 2020 and had optional factory bi modal exhaust installed. It's actually not too bad, much louder than the current GT spec here with the bi modal exhaust as standard.
Hey dude, I'm looking to get a stinger soon and I want to tune the engine to atleast 550 bhp... Could you recommend what parts and what I need to achieve this please, thanks!
You can do that with the JB4 easy, 550hp -25% drivetrain loss would be around 420 to wheels. All you need is some good plugs like the HKS M45iL some intakes, and the JB4. I would get a better exhaust too to help the air flow more, the JB4 will balance it out so you won’t go into limp mode. To achieve what your looking for you will need to run e30 on map 3 minimum though, that’s what I daily and I’ve never had an issue in the last 10k miles. If you go RWD you’ll have a little extra power to wheels but traction will be something you will battle with that setup
