Every year on Christmas Eve Day, December 24, since my first service year with Delta Air Lines in 2014, I've brought my violin to work to share holiday joy with passengers and employees. This 10th year was no different and I'm happily keeping this tradition alive every year. The ambience of the new KCI Airport terminal building has concert hall acoustics is simply amazing and embraces live music.
I am a classically trained violinist who started learning at age 10 through an elementary school instrumental music program and continued my journey with the violin through middle and high school orchestras and also playing in the lab orchestra for graduate school student conductors in the University of Missouri-Columbia music program.
These days, I strictly play for recreation and self-therapy but on occasion, perform for hire at weddings.
