Looks great, I had a 1971 Malibu and I loved it. The problem I have with this car and I pass is the wheels. They look like crap on a great car. More in line with a hooptie mobile and makes the car look like a hippo walking on its tip toes. One good fire bleach burnout on that and it looks like you are riding on those rims for that bad day.
those tires have way more tread than you think and even newer cars have bigger wheels. it aint the 1980's anymore everyone doesnt wanna do the same-ol same-ol
I own the hard top 454 version of this car, also blue with white stripes but with a white interior. Very nice car but those 22" rims are hideous. It would drive and ride like crap. The stock rims look a lot better with 275 60 15 tires on the rear and 225 70 15 tires on the front. Sometimes new rims do not equal better rims. 15" Cragars look good on them too.
Car looks great. Wheels kill the car. In my opinion. I would have went with something a bit more classy and functional for this build. Forgies are kinda ghetto in my opinion. But each is own. I’m sure there is a buyer for this car.
The tires are too low profile for performance or comfort driving, and appeal to the inner city type driver more than a true performance car lover…. And explain how the working cowl induction with a supercharged engine and completely different intake is “working”. Still, overall, a decent ride….just not my type
@@KingJT80 Maybe youre right. I have no inside knowledge. But it still looks ugly. The Rims are too big and the tires too small. It just does not fit to an american muscle car. It looks like a big man wearing high heels. If you know what I mean. No offense.
