I had a long trip with 3,500 km in Vietnam, from South to North, and returned. We only took breaks for charging, food, and personal demands. The car continuelly operated in more than 30 hours without any faults. I extremely love my VF9. We hope American will like and support this car.

I’m glad it has a comfortable interior. You’ll be spending a lot of time in there waiting for a tow truck. I need to know how it works, not how many cup holders it has.

I hadn't known Vinfast until Sandy Munro made 2 videos about VF8, and Sandy Munro saying, "At the end of the day people would be happy with what VF8 offered" has truly opened my eyes to the EV, and then came Kim Java's videos talking about VF8. It was Kim Java, who actually proved the 2023 VF8 Plus City Edition could travel 263.8 miles on a full charge (the 2023 VF8 Plus City Edition battery had only 1% left). In addition, Francie-Out of Spec Podcast had interviewed a couple, who owned a VF8. The wife surprisingly said she had found Vinfast services incomparable! I am driving a VF8 Plus and love every minute of driving the EV. And now your VF9 video helped me understand another great model of the EV maker. Thank you Techmeout.

I’m not so on electric vehicles I don’t wanna sit around 30 and 45 minutes charging the car when you have gas. It only takes you a couple minutes and you on the way.
I don't hear about the Vinfast much anymore but I'm glad I subbed your channel to get some info about it.
Beautiful car, I do love that pano roof. I never gave much thought to heated seats until after a car accident left me with pelvic fractures that remind me of how lucky I am during cold weather. I'm still waiting to buy an EV until I know I can take a road trip without having to spend three hours for a "fill up." This was a great review!
Still early to say Nancy. This EV model has not been testing yet on all travel conditions include winter -30degrees and below.

@@vutran3183 Actually, it has been tested in Germany in the winter of 2023, the battery performance has decreased quite a lot, but in general it is similar to current EV models because the battery technology is almost the same so there is not much difference.
I'm using VF8 in Vietnam and saw you talk about VF9, so I want to upgrade to this model

The car door is too thick, although it would be safer, it would be quite heavy to close. Thank goodness the car has soft close door

wow, good start for the company - Vinfast is building a factory in NC to make the EV's that will be sold in the US market 😊👍 (kinda like Toyota approach which I'm a fan of)...
It announced in Mar 29, 2022 but only an empty land so far. No more money to build but cheap talk to gain nasdaq.

@@vutran3183 What is the truth? Vinfast is adjusting the design, so we need to wait for the license to be reissued. They are building more factories in India and Indonesia. If you say delay means running out of money, then for Elon Musk and Tesla, if they stop building a factory in Mexico, do they run out of money? The only truth here is that you make money from dirty comments, to go everywhere badmouthing Vinfast.

I really like these cars, but something is not quite right with this VF9 - it`s a 123kWh of usable battery, and it only gets around 300 miles or 480km`s from full charge. Should`ve been at least 600km`s even with AC On.
So.... let's talk about that very interesting time piece you were sporting. EV is the future, not my future yet, because it is way out of my price range, and I am a stubborn negotiator. With the import fees on these cars it will become impossible to compare them to the local brands, you know the GM, Tesla and American manufacturers.
The VF7 should be out in a month or so. Could you please do a review?
Also, if you could be the first to do a VF9 Vs EV9 head to head breakdown, should be plenty views.

Sure
Almost all. Already.
Almost it doesn't mean perfection yet. If someone doesn't mind headaches or solving software issues then go for VF9

The new VinFast VF8, already on sale in France, is currently in turmoil. The electric SUV is the target of an investigation in the United States following a serious accident that claimed the lives of a family of four. The cause: faulty driving aids.
But in addition to this dramatic accident, more than 11 complaints have already been lodged against the company due to similar concerns, where the car abruptly changed trajectory. That's not all, as other owners have also reported anti-collision system failures, while some have indicated problems with semi-autonomous driving. One motorist saw his vehicle hit traffic cones at night on a freeway.

7:39 It cost $28.22 to charge this car while it cost another 39 minutes of your life and sushi........I can fill my truck up for $60 and move on with my life to more important stuff. Definitely not a road trip vehicle for me, especially with 3 kids. :D
If you travel on the highway for more than 300km, even if you are driving a gasoline-powered car, you still need to take a break
