The exterior is absolutely beautiful. I normally am not a huge lightbar fan, but they really did that back correctly. It's unique but not over styled. And the connection swoop from the rear window to the side windows with the V on it is lovely.
As a '24 VF8 Plus with 2 kids, wife and I already agreed to get the VF9 in the next couple of years as well. VF3 potentially if they bring it here. VF is easily the most underestimated automaker in the US.

I think $60-65k would be a more compelling price point for the VF9. For $80k you can get a base model Volvo EX90, and for ICE cars the Cadillac XT6 starts at $50k. And as others have mentioned the Kia EV9 is another 7 seat EV that offers a much lower price too.
While it's nice to see another car company, especially one from a country not known for making cars, $80k puts this in the ballpark of a lot of nicer, better established brands with better features, better quality, and dealers everywhere. The VF8 got terrible reviews so it will be interesting to see if the VF9 is any better.
These are definitely a *"sleeper Brand"* in a US market still addicted to their oil marketing people as this is a very competent pure play BEV in Asia going back quite some time now in that regard and with aggressive expansion plans pulled back somewhat in the USA to include manufacturing but not totally as this is not Made in China unlike say....Tesla actually. Very interesting software setup as well something unique in the Industry might see more of that going forward as Apple Carplay and Android Auto not offering up much in the way of The AI for their respective automotive offerings...yet. Tesla however very much is doing that big time starting right now today October, 2024 with possible robotaxi as soon as next year and clear improvement in their vehicle autonomy now as well.
