Hey dan , im so sorry your finding your chemo so rough 🙁 please keep an eye on your sickness , if its so forcefull and very frequent it could tear your oesophagus ( im a nurse practitioner and work in palliative care) im glad your going to hospital when needed but im so sorry your even going through this , my heart goes out to you but i just wanted to say i think you have amazing courage and an amazing attitude , in late 2016 i myself was diagnosed with bladder cancer , so from a person who has been there with how rough the treatment makes u feel i think your doing amazing , all the research and documentation of how your doing will im sure go on to help so many others . You are truly a very brave soul and i think your parents are very proud of you , much love xx

I do not appreciate life as much as everyone else does, so if I was told I had Terminal Cancer I would only ask for pain medication to get me to the last day and nothing else. I do not really enjoy life. You must really enjoy life and I wish I was just like you because you are freaking incredible. WE LOVE YOU HERE IN THE STATES..
Dam mitch, just know your stuck in a way of life you grew up in an don't know any other way. There is happy ways to live this life, that alone should give you hope to keep pushing towards meaning contentment and happiness. Love and healing

I really feel for you Dan i only had chemotherapy for 6 hours and it nearly killed me so I stopped all the treatment , but that's my choice and that's 2 years ago and I never looked back but I wish you all the best Dan and keep fighting xx

I know how bad the chemo sickness can be, as I went through it with my dad. It's absolutely awful! 🤢 His potassium levels kept dropping (which can cause heart problems). I wasn't warned that could be a problem, and I got him into hospital quickly (thankfully!) Hope the sickness gets better for you. Sending you healing vibes and positive thoughts from Scotland 💖

Hi Dan. I haven’t heard you mention the name of the pain medication you are taking. I tried all sorts of pills. The last one I tried was morphine. Boy did that screw me up. Then my doctor suggested a fentanyl patch. That has proven to be effective, though I still have breakout pain. I wear the patch all the time, changing it every 3rd day. Just thought I’d mention it in case you are still having a lot of pain. Based on what you said I think you are experiencing a lot of pain. Dan, you are one of the loveliest and bravest people I have ever seen!! My heart aches seeing you like this. Please know you have oodles of people praying and rooting for you.
Dan. I’ve said this so many times, you are simply amazing 😉 Taking the time to sit down and chat about details of your health when you are clearly feeling sick. Always thinking of others, and ensuring you share and document your experiences with your battle with cancer. it is so vital to hear all of your voices (of course this is only if your mom and dad want to but i would find their journey, being dragged along by their son as it were(!) quite remarkable. and i mean dragged along because of being placed in the unfortunate position of your having this dreadful disease). dan,i wish for some relief for you and hope you see little moments where you are not nauseous (it's incredibly scary and amazing how powerful the body can be in rejecting something and quite out of control your conscious wishes are!) and so bone weary. but, sleep is good and healing and it is good that you can sleep. save your energy for yourself. we'll be here. breathe some real outside air. rest easy.

Hey Dan! I'm not a doctor or nurse, but I can tell you that when I went thru chemo (breast cancer), my doc gave me Zofran for sickness... but he didn't give it to me by itself. He coupled it with a 4 or so day tiered dose of Decadron (a steroid). It made all the difference. I still felt cruddy (flu like), but no sickness, no nausea, nothing like that. I hope you start feeling better soon. Keep us posted. 🙂

it is so vital to hear all of your voices (of course this is only if your mom and dad want to but i would find their journey, being dragged along by their son as it were(!) quite remarkable. and i mean dragged along because of being placed in the unfortunate position of your having this dreadful disease). dan,i wish for some relief for you and hope you see little moments where you are not nauseous (it's incredibly scary and amazing how powerful the body can be in rejecting something and quite out of control your conscious wishes are!) and so bone weary. but, sleep is good and healing and it is good that you can sleep. save your energy for yourself. we'll be here. breathe some real outside air. rest easy.

Hey Dan! I'm not a doctor or nurse, but I can tell you that when I went thru chemo (breast cancer), my doc gave me Zofran for sickness... but he didn't give it to me by itself. He coupled it with a 4 or so day tiered dose of Decadron (a steroid). It made all the difference. I still felt cruddy (flu like), but no sickness, no nausea, nothing like that. I hope you start feeling better soon. Keep us posted. 🙂
