Ladies!!! Y’all are super on your instructional videos! I am a 59 year old retired computer programmer analyst and besides programming, I had to write training manuals and lead training sessions to teach use of the computer programs that I wrote, so I am super picky about any type of training. And y’all are Superior!! I began using my daughter’s Silhouette Cameo a year ago so I’m sort of a newbie but y’all have helped me so much with adhesive vinyl decals and HTV!!! Thank you so very much and thanks for your Excellence!
You will follow the application settings for the particular product you are pressing. For example, if pressing Siser glitter, you will use 320F for 10-15 seconds.
We have not experienced any dye migration from the towels onto the vinyl. If concerned with the dyes in your fabric, you can use a vinyl that blocks dye migration, such as subliblock
Hi Lois. We pressed each Siser Easyweed vinyl transfer individually for the necessary time. Temperature was set to 306 for 15 seconds. Yes, we cover before pressing each one.
To get your 'personal towel textures', it's best to go to Walmart, Target, 'Bed, Bath and Beyond' and feel the weight, texture (nap & size of loops), softness, 'ease of hand', compare a large variety to determine your favorite. A little research, will go a long way, in your favor.
WHEN DOING VIDEOS IT WOULD BE EXTRA EXTRA GREAT FOR YOU TO SAY WHAT BRAND TOWELS THAT YOU ARE USING SO THAT ONE WILL NOT RUN INTO A PROBLEM OF BUYING SOMETHING THAT YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DESIGNED AND END UP LOOSING MONEY. APPRECIATE IT

Awesome video, ladies! I had always assumed towels were too "fuzzy" to use HTV on. I'm trying this NOW. THANK YOU! :)
Thanks for the umbrella tip using vinyl. Can you send the font for the Beach Bound?
How well does it hold up after several washings?
Do you use heating vinyl and a regular vinyl cutter? I missed this step
When you hold the towel to show how it looks I can see the scorch marks from the heat press. What temp is the heat press set to and for how long?

When You press white on the bright blue or red does the color bleed though? How about when you wash and dry the towels?

I'm just learning. I thought your suppose to wash material first.
Hi Donna. It is not necessary to wash the material prior to pressing.
Hello can you give me some good brands of hand towels to use? Im looking for a nice thin one like the one used in this video. Thanks :)

They actually said that they were dollar store towels...gotta pay attention
What type of vinyl
We used Siser Easyweed for our beach towels.
Can you use an iron
That depends on the HTV being used. Siser vinyl you can use a home iron with. You want to make sure you apply with a good amount of pressure.
