Oh my stars!!!!! You literally saved my Christmas! I was adding HTV to a project that my daughter made for her nephew and it moved on my press! I didn't think I could remove it until I saw your fabulous video!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
@@Ronni12Sagittarian I'm sorry I wasn't trying to correct you I was just looking through the comments to see if this method works and never thought of saying ezpz it's way easier to spell
This was a life saver. Worked perfectly! I made some cotton dishtowels with cute sayings and one of the letters got messed up on one towel. Towels are 100% cotton. Then, I was admiring a project I made the other day that was glitter vinyl on polyester. There was a spot that I had not weeded. I took it to the iron which was pretty cool (having used it a few moments earlier to remove the messed up letter on the dishcloth.) I plugged the iron back in and touched the spot on the polyester pillow on the "not too hot iron" and it came off just like magic! So, if someone has a blend fabric, I would try on the lower setting recommended for your fabric and bring the temp up incrementally until the vinyl let's go! Thank you Betsy! I love your channel!
I was getting so frustrated trying to find a plain patch to put over an image on a hoodie I got at a thrift store. This. Worked. PERFECT 👌. Thank you so much!
I made a design for a birthday sweatshirt and forgot to weed one single letter which really upset me. I thought there was nothing I could do to save it until I came across your video. Thank you so much! Still saving projects 6 years later ❤
May the angels bless you forever!!! I customized a shirt for a cousin and messed up one of the vinyls. The shirt he brought to me was a special sports jersey and it’s not like I could just run to the store and buy another one....so as I doggie paddled through my tears of frustration and disappointment, I decided to google “hot to remove htv “ and your video popped up. The lump in my throat dissolved as the htv peeled off after watching your video!!!! Thank you (insert voice-crack and and glittery anime eyes)
Omg you just saved me a lot of money and heartache, I ironed on a sticker on a new expensive jacket and got it wrong , I was worried sick until I saw your video and tried it and hooray it worked so thanks you so much xxxx

Thank you, thank you!!!!!! I used your method to remove vinyl lettering on approximately six shirts that had to go out tomorrow! It worked far better than the example shown. I used a tweezer and the letters came off effortlessly. You have earned my subscription :)

i thought HTV is tougher and melt into the fibres but as a beginner i made a test and heat pressed small fonts from 5 different HTV brands to a shirt to see how durable it is. I planed to wash it every day but after the 2nd wash i noticed some curling on the edges of the small fonts, this was chemica hotmark HTV, a very thin material of 55 micron. So i tried to rip it off when it was still wet from the washing machine and i was able to rip it off with a medium force i would say. And i was able to rip all the other HTV from different brands off as well, i am a bit dissapointed and i thought the HTV would melt into the fibres permanently but it isnt the case, it seems to only bond slighly with the glue on the fibre. Off course you need some force to do it and i ripped off some fibres of the shirt as well but it wasnt sticking that hard. Maybe it was because it was wet i dont know, maybe its normal and my expectations were to high. I even pre pressed the shirt and give it a quick 2nd press. I mean it was a Stahls heat press i checked with an IR thermometer. One thing i noticed is that when you cutting settings are not good, the cameo tends to rip more instead of cutting which lead to tiny curling off the HTV Vinyl around edges, i think the hot glue of the HTV will bond not good on those parts, maybe i am wrong here. The cut settings i received were all to much, it was blade 2 force 12. With blade 2 force 3 it was much better, i guess i could even go to blade 1 force 14 or something like that. greetings from Germany.

Thank you so much for this video; I thought I could use a home iron to correct a mistake, I just wasn't sure how to do it and you're video shows me exactly what I was searching for.
