High heat is good but you don't need the fan on high. It will circulate better and open the thermostat quicker if the fan is on low or even off. The heater core works like a small radiator. If you keep the heater fan off then the engine will get to operating temperature sooner.
Changing the main fluids Coolant, Oil, and Transmission on these Camry's is very simple. I always advise people to learn how to do the fluids yourself because it's simple. No use to spending 300 dollars and wasting your hard earn money.
You can see at 3:30 mark that I took a little bit over 5 quarts, which is 4.7 litters. That is not all fluid, so you can do this procedure twice or even 3 times if you want to do better refreshing fluid. That depends on the condition of fluid you take out and whenever last time you change it. And it is the same process for 2010. Good luck, and thank you for watching.
I used to flush my Toyota's coolant with the hose and the engine running, but then I could no longer get the Toyota red coolant concentrated. If I used the 50/50 version, I'd have too much water left in the cooling system when done. I now do it as you do and get most of it changed but not 100% as before. Wash spilled coolant with a hose as it can kill animals that like it's sweet taste. Recycle the used coolant responsibly.
Good advice if you use full strength coolant. Toyota stopped sellling that. I actually used Prestone version in full strength but I tend to stick to manufacturers version ax I know there will be no compatibility issues. Worth the extra cost to me.
The videos that I have seen are telling people that they have to Jack the car up and take off that plastic piece underneath. Thank you for your video it's very informative
Mechanics and Dealers, if you can trust them, can flush the complete transmission. I wanted to post my way for people to see how one can refresh fluid by doing my procedure 2-4 times based on the condition of fluid and not only to save some money but also to have pease of mind.

attention average maintenance:I have the same drainer plug on my 2011 Toyota Camry and I am trying to remove it so I can add new coolant to my whole radiator, The plug is very tight I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. Help
To avoid bigger problem, be patient with it, to not brake it. It is plastic and too much of force could be bad. Try do it when engine coolant is cold and spray it with WD40, or some other penetrator. Give some time to penetrator to loosen up. Good luck.
Hello! How many quarts did you use to refill it completely? Do I need to max all fans, thermostat? How would I know if there are no more air trapped inside? Thank you!
Thank you for watching. I used around 5 quarts of coolant. Yes, max the heat on defroster to reach operating temperature. While you running your engine air will escape and you will see bubbles when that happens. Add coolant to the top of radiator each time. I did add coolant 4-5 times. Once you reach operating temperature all air should escape. If you want to make sure all air is out, keep your engine running longer. I did 20 minutes you can run it for at least 30 minutes, but best thing is look into your dashboard to see are you at daily operating level. Do not forget to check the level after driving it for 20-30 miles or 20-30minutes of idling. I did this procedure at 77436 miles and now my wife has 78677. There was no any problems. Good luck.

I would not. With coolant there is no sediments build up which eventually causes leaks and in winter coolant prevents freezing. A lot of people suggest distilled water vs. tap water when mixing concentrated coolant to prolong the engine life.
Water will cool very well but it lacks corrosion protection for different metal types that will react galvanically. Coolant also helps with water pump lubrication that.50/50 water/coolant will provide.
