I always hated this song, but hearing Charlotte sing it made me realize the song was good, but Madonna's interpretation of it did not do the song justice. Charlotte adds such warmth and humanity to the song. Why isn't Charlotte a big star here in the US?
Every trained singer sounds better than Madonna, since Madonna is a terrible live singer. But apart from good singing, one wants character and this execution doesn't have that. A lack of power in the background choir is one reason behind that.
I don't konw if I've wright this befor but I'll do it again. Madonna is so much better. She has more power.. I love this song more then God, but it needs Madonna.
