Not to take away from Sophie who I admire - but it's not JUST about the ''right mindset''. It's also about being lucky to meet your match, being healthy enough AND having financial means as well to be able to afford this.
Damn you're totally right. She's techno singer, but never used autotunes and other shit... Besides she is beautiful and a nice singer, she is an awesome mother. All this years, she looks almost the same. :D I Know, she is a millioner, but money is not the whole reason to be this good looking. Faith in yourself and confidence can do more then evey penny u got in your wallet.
oh she better don't. especially after her blood-out-of-ears "performance" on Eurovision, where she basically buried "like a prayer" . and they even had to re-upload the video with another pre-recorded audio, covering her real "singing"
Who can dislike a video like this? I mean, we're watching Sophie performing in her living room, with her kids while singing and doing this adorable dance and comments that she always does. What a wholesome video! and as the other says, wishing she was more succesful or famous can't compite to watch her being a happy mom and still a great artist too, THAT'S HER SUCCESS.
How adorable is this! When I saw the video in my recommendations, I said to myself; too bad she wasn't more successful as a singer and is less active today, But then I saw that she was singing with her lovely kids and still got her wonderful voice and I realized that she was in fact far more successful than many other singers. Great cover, great singer and great mom. I wish her and her family joy and happiness.
I agree with the sentiment, she should’ve been even bigger because she really is very special, her face, her tone of voice, her personality and her vibrato are all so unique but back in 00’s she was quite big especially throughout Europe. I’m always astounded when I see lots of comments on her videos from fans all over the world (Russia, Mexico, India, Italy, Poland, US) Don’t forget Murder and Groovejet were both huge songs internationally.
When the COVID 19 pandemic started, my mother and I watched this video together. Seeing another mother dancing and singing along with her four children of hers (Mickey is adorable) filled us with joy and hope. Now that you can see the light of day at the end of the tunnel, this video becomes part of my life, Thanks Sophie!
These kitchen disco gigs are brilliant. So nice and natural to see her dancing 🕺 around and singing with her children. God bless you Sophie and Merry Christmas ☃️☃️🎄
I made this backing track (for Zoom Karaoke). Very chuffed to have such an amazing lady give a great performance of it. It's why we take the time to get the music sounding as good as we can! x
Such a beautiful unique voice. To be able to knock this out in your living room with what seems like minimal effort is spectacular. The fact that you've got 4-5 children who are also there proves you're a bloody legend. Still beautiful too
Hi Sophie. I live alone. Been caring for my parents, who are in their late 70's & early 80's. I bought a karaoke machine and had my children over on Monday. They are much older than yours 20 & 25. But, we had such a blast. (Social distancing, accepted of course) I think you gave me the inspiration for this & it's music, that will help us overcome C19. Thank you & God Bless!
Thank you Sophie for sharing your talent and home with us. I really enjoyed the kitchen disco, your positivity and optimism has been very helpful during these difficult times. Stay well, much respect and many many thanks.
Very talented lady and absolutely beautiful. Her tone and vibrato are very distinctive. She’s also always been involved in writing her songs since the beginning of her solo career - she wrote both Groovejet and Murder. 🙌🏻
There is something about her accent when she sings that is very unusual interesting and attractive...it is specifically English and not the usual Americanised accent of many singers.
@@sergiogonzalesYT No because like the person said most people lose their accent when they sing. No matter what accent they have, it pretty much always sounds American. So the fact that you can hear her English accent so clearly is rare. Lorde, Kylie Minogue, Adele are just some famous examples.
@@ItsBritneyBitch1 yes thanks Vicki. Adele completely loses her London accent when she sings...it’s usually a shock to hear her speak at the end of a song..for more reasons than one...lol. But another female singer who sang with her local accent is Delores O’Riordan...think of how she sang Zombie with her Irish accent intact. It’s all in the vowel sounds. The other comment that suggested Sophie E-B sounds Australian...that was an interesting comment...it’s not correct of course because as I said she sounds specifically English but in fact her singing accent is even more accentuated than when she speaks...listen to how she pronounces DJ in ‘Murder on the Dance Floor’...she sings as Dee Jai, not Dee Jay as most people would....or her pronunciation of the word like in Like a Prayer...it’s almost ‘loik a prayer’
That was my first thought, too! It’s like they plucked her out of the “Murder on the Dancefloor” set but somehow also had that many kids in the process...
I love my kids, dearly. But this perfectly captures that feeling of desperate madness that takes hold when you've been stuck inside with them for far too long. Far too long.
I thought that was extremely good and i've never been a fan before but she's a great voice. To do that in her living room without computerised voice effects like a lot of todays pop stars have in studio,at that quality was impressive.
Amazing performance! Love that she fostered at least one little drummer boy (even if the even younger one seems up to it too) and let them in on the fun! Laughed so hard at the yell in the end too 🤣 Can you do "I will survive" next? Think it will sound amazing in her voice!
I nominate this as one of the best live cover performances of covid-19...screw that...best of all time. Cute, funny, professional, adorable, beautiful, talented. I hope #madonna has heard this spectacular performance as this one carries it to the next millennium.

I thought the same, she became famous in 2000, it's been 20 years and she seems she is still the same age
I mean... she’s great but there’s definitely a lot of voice production here...

True that. I'm falling apart at late 30's already. Thinking like: "why does this start sagging down? That's not what I want it to do."
She has great facial bone structure, that helps a lot.
