First of all it is good to see a young man sewing! You made this so simple for beginners with your pattern making! I watched several videos, they are all simple but yours is the best! Myself, I've been sewing for over 40 yrs. (just realized saying that I am getting old) every beginner should really appreciate this.

@@NorrisDantaFord I love this pattern and it was super easy to make but I think I did something wrong with my darts. The finished beanie has 2 little swells almost like small Mickey Mouse ears. Any thoughts on what I may have done wrong?

I'm going to make a couple silk ones with tiestraps to wear over my curls at night or to coordinate with my outfits. I might even make it a husband- wife project with my hubby!

I love watching your hands..so careful and graceful..I was looking for this pattern everywhere as I saw it years ago with some Norwegian dude making it...in 2 colors . ( not a problem right?) Now I am off to whip one up..Red on one side and a little blue flower on the other...Cheers and thanks Norris

This is dope, my only question or maybe suggestion is some fabric suggestion for the garment. I'm not sure of the type of fabric to use for this, that would also go well with a straight stitch machine

Amazing! Would you suggest any changes if I wanted to make the Beanie reversible (two colored)? Tacking the two crowns together at the end would mean your stitches would be visible on at least one side. Maybe invisible thread? I have seen it, but don't know how much give it has.
