How To Make A Winter Hat Under 10 Minutes/ Easy & Quick Sewing Tutorial For Beginners/ Make To Sell

- Everyone get ready for the winter or make something useful for the holidays gift? This should be a one item you don’t want to miss. This winter hat is super easy to make with jus a few simple straight cuts and stitches.
This winter hat also very easy to adjust the size.
1- measure the hat
2- Whatever the measurements you divide into 2 ( my head is 22, divided into 2 = 11)
3- The height, measure from ear loop on the left go to the top and come down to the ear loop on the right and divide by 2. My is 17” I add 1” and divided 2. ( I want my hat cover my ears so I cut 9”) if you want to roll up then cut extra 4”
Everything remains the same

This is so cute and it looks like a project that is good for everyone!
When I taught school and Xmas came around I would put up a big Xmas tree in the entrance to the hall and hang my homade crochet hats, mittens, and scarves that I made all summer on it and anyone who wanted them could take WHT they wanted or needed. They looked so nice on a full size tree! All sizes from small child to adult and when it was time to leave for vacation they'd all be gone. This would be a big hit with everyone!

Sound so good, the school my kids attended 6 years from K to 5th,, whatever we did for the school they never appreciate and they careless ,,, I donated so much handmade earrings, clothes,, gift cards and I even brought the Lion Dance to perform during my New Year to share my culture with them,, none of that was on the Newsletter for other parents to know.. This Fall they will be attended middle school and I heard so many good thing about that school.. will see, I emailed the principal and asked some questions when we found out my kids will be there ( we have 2 middle school ) He emailed me right back so professional...

@@TheTwinsDay So sad to hear that you were not appreciated for all your wonderful attempts to enhance your children's School. Unfortunately that's the world we live in! It's so sad. One Christmas I printed out the each countries Christmas December Celebration , I posted each one down the the entrance halls to the grade levels. Kids and parents loved it and learning new customs from around the world. My Principal was upset at my doing this and she was berating me in the hall when an Egyptian family (our first one) came to ask for classroom directions. After I told them the way to class the Father stopped to read the paper on how Egyptians celebrate Christmas, he was completely overwhelmed with joy to see his country represented for all to see. So it happens all over that rude ignorant people can be in places of authority. Always keep being you because you are amazing!

I really love this because you can make this to suit what you want in a hat,how it fits etc. it would be nice made out of fleece or even that soft curly like teddy bear fur too. Love this. What kind of material did you use? Did it have much stretch?
I used flannel fabric because other will make my head itch LOL This is super and it fitted me perfectly,, . .but best to use for this hat if you buy baby blanket, fleece or even your old T shirt ( make sure it stretchy)

Hi Vivian. This hat is perfect, and your instructions are very easy to follow. I can't think about winter yet, but I know what you mean. People can choose some nice flannel patterns and give the gift of a warm head. Several of these could be made fairly quickly. I used to sell at craft fairs and that's a great idea for these too.
Maybe a pom pom on top for some people would be cute (tutorial is in playlist). Hopefully I will be making them in our new place, if we ever find one. Great job, sis, as always. I'm getting ready to go to Walmart. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

Be careful, don’t start with crappy material, otherwise you will be throwing that hat out before you know it!
Maybe I missed it, but what was your seam allowance? It looks like 1/4" but could be larger.
1/2" but after that I sew I trim to 1/4"

that is so simple of a hat we make cancer hats basically a little bit like your pattern but I think yours is going to be simpler to make but why are you hand sewing it why don't you just Stitch it with the sewing machine it's on the inside anyhow
