What is balanced diet
Right amount of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals, water and dietary fibre.
A balanced diet would help to provide us with energy to carry out activities in the day and chemical activities at night when sleeping.
Everyone of us requires different nutrients, and this depends on our lifestyle, activities and age. This is why a balanced diet for one person may not be the same for another.
Balanced diet provides the energy to survive and stay healthy.
Energy is needed to do work when we are awake, and to perform activities when we are at rest or asleep.
The Amount of energy needed to carry on vital processes of the body when it is in complete rest is known as Basal Metoblism, where metabolism is known as a chemical reaction that take place in our body
The basal metabolic rate is a measurement of how fast chemical.reaction are occurring, when a person is completely at rest. E.g The bearing of the heart

I have a question. Where is the scientific proof that humans need to eat a balanced diet?
Our body needs protein, carbohydrates,fats,vitamins,minerals etc to function properly. so you need to eat different foods which contain each of those so you will not have any deficiency of nutrients and be as healthy as possible. So you should eat rice,oats,,wheat etc for carbs and meat,fish,egg,milk etc for protein and different kinds of vegetables, fruits and leaves and maybe other things to get all the essential vitamins and minerals. And also drink lot of water.
@@Fareeh. No, we don't need carbohydrates. I do like a lot of what you said, but I'm living proof carbs are not necessary.
The human body will create glucose through gluconeogenesis that the body needs.
I eat a zero carb, unbalanced diet. I only eat 4 things every day: bacon, eggs, sausage and steak. My health is perfect and this diet cured my problems. I do drink a ton of water though
@@ClassicJukeboxBand eat whatever you want. This is just my opinion from what I heard from people but they could be wrong. Also remember just because you still live on a diet doesn't mean its the best because some people could eat lot of fast food in their life and still live upto 70 or 80.
It's not like that..its just in.what type of country you live n the weather is also reason for your food...if your activity is hard and in sun like farming n all n work more in sun..carbohydrates n meat n others are the best diet for you..but if you are going stay in winter n less sun..then u may not need carbohydrates that much...
