@huskytalesbackensto5890 People have always been so kind and supportive of me at Through My Lens. I am so appreciative of them. Thanks for the kind words!
Another great video! Our daughter uses a wheelchair so we especially like your description of the trails so we can assess do-ability. Thanks so much for opening up trails to all.
@mamaebbie7326 It’s encouraging to me to find that there are many hikes that are accessible in whole or in part. Josh made the decision to comment on them especially for folks like your daughter.
Wow, the scenery was just awesome at every turn, love the contrast of the oranges and greenery. Thanks for sharing this with us, I am definitely adding this boat trip and hike the next time I am in the area.
Hello Pops I'm so glad you started your own channel .I have been watching through my lens quite a while with much enjoyment. This is a great idea to show people who are capable of hiking but where afraid to take that first step ha ha.Good luck good health and one more thing you have a wonderful family Larry from long island
@crazylarry1959 I hope I can be encouraging to some. I started later in life myself. You are right about my family, they are a huge blessing! Thanks for stopping by!
We did something similar in nearby Glen Canyon/Horseshoe Bend. That is an area we need to revisit. Rainbow Bridge, the Vermillion Cliffs, the Wave, White Pocket, etc. Also, a little birdie told me you may have edited this whole thing. Great job and thanks for taking us along for the ride.
@MagellanandGreyhound Yes that is such a rich area. I always think of Page as like the center of a wheel with spokes going to amazing surroundings. Thx for the kind words on the editing! Have a great tutor.
@SwiftyTravels It really is! I want to go back and rent a houseboat with the family. I guess the time of year that you go is pretty critical. Can get zooey. Thank-you so much for subscribing!
I was thinking at first that you guys actually rented a boat to do this. They had stopped doing boat tours out there for a while because of the low water levels. I'm glad you made this video because I didn't know they were doing them again. I still haven't been out there yet, and it's been on my bucket list for a while. Thanks for sharing this pops!
Loved the scenery, so amazing. I'm sure video doesn't do it justice. Very pretty music you chose here too! Thanks, Pops! Looking forward to the next video
Oh, I am so excited to see that you have your own channel. been watching Josh and stumbled upon yours now. That is awesome. This hike has been on our list for so long.
What an incredibly beautiful place. I taught environmental education for 26 yeas and was always impressed with the fact that nature will heal itself and return to its natural state if given the chance as you pointed out the vegetation at the arch. Powerful stuff. Look forward to visiting someday. Thanks Pops for sharing and much love yo you
@bartvoskulen3243 We have a big trip planned this summer! Across the entire US and back. It was Josh’s idea for me to start my own channel but he can’t get rid of me that easily! Hahaha
Nice Stuff Pops! Just wondering if the video length could be further expanded of a good (professor) publisher explorer that you are known for. Thanks for Sharing as Always...usually with Josh
Wow, this is stunning! The landscape is filmed so clearly that I feel like I'm there. No pressure to answer this (& I'm sure you get asked this too much) but, I'm curious as to what kind of camera you're using in this one?
Makes me so happy to see your channel up and running! By the way, I can subscribe but it won’t allow me to receive any notifications. I’m not sure if you have heard that from anyone else.
@prowrestlingisart6742 Thanks so much! I always get a smile when I see your handle. I’ll run your question by Josh and if he has any ideas I’ll pass them along.
@connieamick6395 The one I use I picked up on sale at a Columbia outlet. I like the ones that are adjustable. You can set the length that's best for you and then collapse it for easy carrying/travel.
I've seen some videos of these canyons getting onset of torrential rain & flash flooding. Does anyone know if this risk is year-round, or just in the summer "monsoon" season?
Hey, I have been there as well!
@ThroughMyLens If not for you I wouldn't have gotten to see it!
You are now an expert on hiking all over the SouthWest! Way to go!
Hardly but thanks for the kind words!!
Pops😮Absolutely Gorgeous views…
I L❤VED hiking with you.

Yes they are!
Absolutely gorgeous scenery! Thanks for the video. 🙂

Unfortunately I didn’t get to visit Rainbow Bridge when I went to Lake Powell with my family. I’ll need to plan a trip to see it. Great video!
@Harames It is definitely worth seeing on your next visit! So beautiful!
❤
Lake Powell is one of the most amazing places in the country!! So glad to take the tour with you!! Happy to be a part of your new channel!!😀👍

I did that back in 2018, the year I retired. Simply Amazing Trip. Nice video, now I see where your son gets it from!
Thanks for watching! Actually anything I have with video I got from him. Hahaha

@adventuringoutdoorswitheric Yeah, and we hit the perfect time with few visitors. Thank you for stopping by!
Would I get a reply from Pops ....even if I said, "Hello"? 😃. And, yes, this hike is definitely going on my bucket list.
You should! Hahaha
Loved the scenery, so amazing. I'm sure video doesn't do it justice. Very pretty music you chose here too! Thanks, Pops! Looking forward to the next video
@DisneyGarVal Thanks for stopping by and the kind words!
Absolutely beautiful. Ive not done this trail. I have to look into it since I'll be in AZ for seven more weeks.
@wanderlust62 Yes between the boat ride and the hike is a beautiful full day!
Oh, I am so excited to see that you have your own channel. been watching Josh and stumbled upon yours now. That is awesome. This hike has been on our list for so long.

@jymnmeier3527 You are so right about the power of nature! So cool for it to come back.
Thanks pops, enjoying your new channel. I assume we will also still be seeing you on ThroughMyLens from time to time? Greetings from Australia.
@bartvoskulen3243 We have a big trip planned this summer! Across the entire US and back. It was Josh’s idea for me to start my own channel but he can’t get rid of me that easily! Hahaha

You're welcome! It was a truly amazing hike.

That’s a great suggestion that I will try to take to heart in future videos. Thx for watching!

It really was. I’m embarrassed to say it was just my iPhone 14 Pro. Thx for watching!
Great video--thanks! I may have missed it, but how long is the trail?
Makes me so happy to see your channel up and running! By the way, I can subscribe but it won’t allow me to receive any notifications. I’m not sure if you have heard that from anyone else.

@@popshiking you will see more of it for sure! I will try again to see if I can receive the notifications. I don’t want to miss any uploads!
How long is the trail? Do you suggest taking lunch? How much time did the boat give you before it left?
It’s about 3 miles round trip. Our boat trip out to it included lunch.
Thank you.
Are you from Illinois? Always see.you wearing Univ of Ill cap
@MustafaKamal-fv8zx I went to school in Illinois for my undergrad and U of I for grad work.
Pops can you please tell me what particular walking stick you use?
@connieamick6395 The one I use I picked up on sale at a Columbia outlet. I like the ones that are adjustable. You can set the length that's best for you and then collapse it for easy carrying/travel.
@@popshiking thank you!
I've seen some videos of these canyons getting onset of torrential rain & flash flooding. Does anyone know if this risk is year-round, or just in the summer "monsoon" season?
Personally I don’t know although we have gotten a lot of rain in SoCal the last two winters.
About how long is the trail
PatrickMchenry-qp8fp I think it’s a little over a mile like 1.2 each way.
Now that you have your own channel, your fee for doing collaborations with @throughmylens should go up 😅🙌🏽 Great video, Pops
@violetbf3773 I think I need a better agent. Are you available? Hahaha
