Hi Jerry and Linda. Even though I live in Oregon, I watch every episode of your show. My sister and her husband live in Leesburg and they are the ones that introduced me to your show. I will always be grateful to them for doing this because you absolutely bring delight and much laughter to my day. You both are the best!!! Thank you 😊 much love to you! Roberta from Oregon
Watching on Thursday evening this time. We're at Bible study on Wednesday's. Great show! How's your eye, Linda? Hope you had good results. Jerry, I hate winter and it's been cold almost daily since we got back Christmas Eve! Brrrr...
I always tip the breakfast server a little extra. That server is always the single mother or the senior that has to work to make ends week. Plus your breakfast bill is usually cheaper than a dinner meal.
Great video. Glad you are doing well after your eye surgery Linda. Sorry your sister is having to deal with a scammer. My views on tipping are the same as yours. Jerry you made me laugh out loud talking about the orange juice! 😂❤

People love my service yet no tip and they keep coming back. The hourly salary is not enough so please people tip something! We are a high class wig salon helping women with all types of hair loss. We live in Arizona from SC. We have fruit trees in all yards even on the sidewalks. I love it the trees are always loaded and some people put fruit in a box on the sidewalk for free. We have grapefruit trees and oranges. Our neighbor has big lemons. It’s wonderful for me because I have always liked fruit especially grapefruit and I don’t have to pay for it. I feel blessed.

Hi Jerry and Linda from Phoenix, AZ! Glad your surgery went well Linda. I had cataract surgery back in 2019. No winter blues here in AZ - have lived here for 27 years and it’s been chilly here too! Always enjoy your videos! Before our move out west, we spent a lot of vacations in Florida! Fond memories!
I laugh so hard at Jerry's jokes. I unfortunately can't participate in the evenings with these go live/ call in but I watch the following day. I put it on and listen while I work and I laugh out loud when I hear Jerry and his sense of humor.
I watched the replay. Glad your cataract surgery went well Linda. Hopefully the drops will be over in a few weeks. I tip 20% after tax, and I round up as many times I am putting the tip on my debit card. So if 20% is $5.48 I round up to $6. In his later years my Dad would never tip more than $3 no matter how much the bill was. When going to a restaurant with him, I tried to insist on paying or carry singles with me so the server got a decent tip. Sorry to hear about your sister & the scammer. I got Lifelock service a few years ago; fortunately I have not needed to use it. I did freeze all 3 of my credit reports several years ago.
SO sorry to have missed the show - was out working tonight - watching the replay - hope to see you guys next week! Praying for Linda’s speedy recovery!❤️🩹
There's a grocery and than some store down in Naples caled Seed to Table. They have fresh squeezed orange juice but it's expensive. If you're ever down that way it's a neat store though.
I keep my thermostat at 68 and it works pretty great. At night I set it for 64, but it goes back up to 68 pretty quickly when I reset it in the morning.
Great show guys! It went by so fast!! All of a sudden you said it was over an hour and I couldn't believe it!! I was in the service industry quite awhile! So as a past bartender at a Palm Beach restaurant I'm a good tipper when I go out. Sometimes a server is cranky, or not very talkative, and I just think to myself, "wonder what their problem is? Maybe they have a sick child at home?" .. Anyway, I usually give the benefit of the doubt and tip 20%. Sometimes, if it feels right, I'll say, "Honey, is everything ok? Can I help with whatever's bothering you?" ... I know it's kind of a nosey-Nelly thing, but I'm kind of an empath, and you can really tell when something is wrong. That's why I'll ask. Of course, you do just run into a seriously obnoxious server at times, and they're easy to decipher from others! THAT's when my tip goes ⬇️‼️😁 Linda, take care of those eyes! Wear your sunglasses (even on gloomy days!). Good luck with your next surgery too!
When my husband had his cataracts removed a couple years ago, he went to a doctor in South Bend and he did not have to put the drops in. There was an automatic time release device that they put in his eye for the drops. This surgeon was some kind of a high class only two of them in Indiana. It was really nice though. I did not have to put drops in his eyes.
Up here in Ohio, my wife needed Cat surgery in both eyes, and one eye needed a special type of lens! Well Medicare will not pay for the laser type surgery, only the blade surgery. So we ended up paying about $3k extra for each eye when they were done by laser. Anyway, we paid about $65.00 for this eye drop that contained all three drops in one solution when each eye was done, this cut down on the waiting of 5 minutes apart for the three individual drops. And it is easy to get distracted during your 2 to 3 times a day eye drops after surgery!
The Bird Flue has killed millions of chickens this past year! So we really need to follow the food chain, or have friends on the farms that have eggs and beef!
Tipping is mainly an american pracrice that has been used to shift the cost of the staff over to the customer. The National Restaurant Owners Ass was created in the early 1900s. This group lobbied congress to get themselves exempt from paying the minimum wage when first introduced, and, this practice continues today.
As a former waitress ( not an expensive restaurant) I made so much more w tips!! I’m so glad we have the tipping system in America! It gives motivation to servers to do their best !! a straight salary for a job that is performance based is a quick way to bring the best workers down to mid level work…!! And at restaurants like Waffle House etc you’d be surprised what servers make BECAUSE of tips
@marywilson1948 No, I am quite aware of the earnings potential of tips. My point is that it is in excess. The wage should be paid by the business owner and there should not be an exception for that industry.

Most likely these scammers are not into your sisters account they just send people texts telling them that they are . That’s all it takes to get people nervous and then the scammers hope they get someone scared enough to send money. My suggestion is to just report it and then delete and ignore it.
