- Travel Portugal 2021 - Watch as we travel to Ferragudo in the Algarve, Portugal. In our Travel Series of Portugal in 2021 we have explored many beautiful places here in the Algarve but Ferragudo might just be the most beautiful.
An Old Fishing Village which has now become a must visit for any Travel Portugal Itinerary. Apart from its beautiful town, intresting history and beautiful beach, its also home to a hugely popular instagram spot. Watch as we take you on a walk through Ferragudo pretty streets and see some incredible houses. We also visit Praia Grande, Ferragudo's local beach and we see the castle (yes thats right, a castle) on the beach. Facinating.

Just come back from a week in Portimao, visited Ferragudo by River Taxi from the marina. Good way to visit a lovely village.
Love and miss, Portugal so much. And This wee Village is my Favourite spot in the whole of Southern Europe. I can't wait to return. I always stay in Praia Da Roche. And the just walk to the likes of Ferragudo, Alvor etc.

Went to ferragudo last summer for a day trip and thought it was a very scenic town , but Alvor is still my favourite place of all time 🇵🇹love watching these videos ❤️

I wouldn’t say the “most Instagramable spot in Algarve” because Algarve is pretty big, comprises many towns, but definitely that seems the most instagramable place in Ferragudo

Always a great surprise to find out you have air conditioning. Love the paintings on the wall in the center of the town! Those flowers do look a lot like Greece 😀 Definitely looks like a lot of steps. Those colorful alleyways are very pretty! Dinner looked yummy!

Must be a couple of years since we popped down the coast. We’re up in Loule (waiting for the sun to pop thru) it’s on its way, very slowly 🤗

I love this place and it not just beautiful it is also nice to stay there, I have been there two times and stayed there two weeks each time on my favorit hotel name One2seven in the heart of the village.
Ferragudo is a nice quiet spot but close to everything you need by car. Ye should do a video on the water parks when they reopen. Great work on the videos, keep it going

Great video thanks guys. If you’d like a small town to visit may I suggest Loule about a 40 min drive from Portimão. It’s got a great market (plaza) and on the weekends it’s lively with food stalls. I’ll have to check out all the towns you’ve showed so far when I’m in Portugal next.

@@GoTimeTravels not a problem. My family is from there so I’ve spent a huge amount of time there. It’s not near the water but it’s still nice. My grandfather sold fish in that market for 40 years when he was alive. It’s a great market on the weekends. FYI it’s not a touristy town so everything closes at 12 till 3pm. Because of Covid it’s closed during the week and opened on Saturday from 8 till 1pm. It’s a great food market with very fresh and home made produce. Enjoying your videos & having so much saudades of Portugal.

Hi there, thanks so much for watching our videos we really appreciate it, Ferragudo is not far from alvor at all, it’s probably about 15 mins if even, Ferragudo is literally a stone throw away from portimao.
The perfect life -> well paid remote job -> living in a beautiful sunny country -> affordable cost of living -> amazing quality of life and safety -> an airport nearby with flights to other countries Europe/ worldwide = PORTUGAL 🇵🇹 You’re smart, other ones will follow the same way of living, not a digital nomad but an expat 4 ever...great vlog by the way 👏👍

@@GoTimeTravels just a quick reminder...the warmest water in Algarve can be found in the east part, specially Monte Gordo beach or Praia verde, temperatures could reach 25 to 27°....Do you know that the North of Portugal is a celtic region?? It's funny because your irish and not many foreigner people know this...how cool is that??! In Algarve no one will ever think that the North of the country is celtic...the diversity of Portugal always amazed me...so much to know and discover...lots of history and funny details...search for example "Padeira de Aljubarrota" she was a woman of a village that made traditional bread and that village was attacked by the spanish soldiers and then she alone killed many spanish soldiers and put them in the oven! 😂😅🤣😂 until today the spanish never liked our bread...just kidding...but it's such an interesting story...many more you could search and include in your vlogs...it makes it even more interesting to watch!
By the way we love your irish pubs, you can also found a lot of them in Lisbon.

Loving your videos of Portugal! Where would you say the best place is to go for a young couple who like really good food and a lively atmosphere?
Hi there thanks for watching our videos. You have some options, we live in portimao, so we have Praia da Rocha here, big tourist hotspot. Decent nightlife, fantastic beach, some good restaurants. It’s also quite close to Alvor which has some amazing restaurants and also some really good bars....another option would be Vilamoura/Albufeira part of the algarve. Some incredible restaurants in Vilamoura and good night life too, you can also get to albufeira from there which is renowned for lively atmosphere. Vilamoura is very good for couples.
Just discovered your channel and really am enjoying it! My husband and I are Americans, retired and living in Boliqueime. If you haven't been, check out the town of Alte, north of us in the hills. Very very charming!
