    This was actually recorded in Carnegie Hall, the last concerts before the big move to Philharmonic Hall. Seymour Lipkin had a distinguished career as both pianist and conductor and worked with LB in both capacities.

    A big thank you for all these discoveries ! I hope you will be able to offer his concerts never published : Peter Mennin, 2nd symphony (27.III.1945) ; Nicholas Nabokov, 3d (I.IV.1968) and Roger Sessions, violin concerto (19.II.1959).

      The Mennin and the Nabokov were not likely to be recorded.

      I read in a magazine that there are many concerts recorded in audio by the NYF and Maestro Bernstein. however wue were never released. Maybe these works are among them, and one day they will be released.
