Just wanted to say thanks for all the congrats. I really do appreciate what team MSM did for me, if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have been at the track this past weekend and Hooked on racing little toy cars lol. I’d also like to give another thanks to all of Marks race family. Thanks for taking me under your wing and helping me with any questions or any tuning issues when Mark wasn’t around. Also, thanks to all the other MSM supporters that pitted next to us. The truth Of the matter for all those that have any questions or any doubts about how I got started I just want to say it was because I followed Mark on RUclips. I’m just your average Joe blow 8 to 5 worker with a wife and a daughter, I found a new appreciation in life after Following Mark Santa Maria on his RUclips channel. Not knowing how much fun an RC car can have on a grown adult, I hope to one day to get my daughter involved just like Mark did with his two boys but who knows. I will say it’s people like Mark that really makes you appreciate this hobby not just for his RUclips channel and his MSM Facebook support group but how involved he is in with the hobby and what he does for the hobby. I’m a prime example of what he’s done, so thanks again Mark and Mel and everybody else for all the congrats. I didn’t forget about that last comment down there I’ll work on a shimmy but it’s gonna have to be a Marshall shimmy being that I was such a good Marshall this past weekend LOL.
Never stop learning, your humbleness is honestly refreshing. Keep at it, I've been a recreational racer for about 30 years now (more off than on) but I'm having more fun now than I did when I started back in the late 1980's. Mark is a great ambassador, his passion for the hobby truly shines through.
Dang! This makes me want to get into racing…I just bought 2 used slash 4X4s and I’m having a blast just rebuilding them and dialing them in. Such an awesome hobby!!!
Watching this video makes me miss racing SOOOO MUCH.. And makes me remember all of the stress of setting up my buggy and truck to get it race ready the week before and trying to make sure I had everything and enough of everything for the weekend.. I really wish I had a track near me and money to get another truck or buggy, because I really do miss that excitement of being up on the drivers stand nailing laps back to back
Great video. I like to see a facility like that for 1/5 scale in Texas. Maybe Thornhill could do one 1/5 scale a year. ???? Great video Mark. And welcome Chase to the team
New subscriber, and don’t typically subscribe quickly because I want to make sure it’s something I want to watch consistently. Took a few watches on this one and I was hooked. Restarted in the hobby after 15 years so everything is so much different . This channel helps a ton to bridge the knowledge gap from what I used to know to now and I really appreciate it! Best of luck to Chase and Mark this upcoming season. I look forward to seeing Chase’s progress, and learning about setting up my own cars. Thanks again! 🤙🏻
Never been to a race! Thanks for showing me what it's like! I mostly fly fpv drones but I have a few cars too! Keep doing what your doing- we all appreciate it alot!!!
I got into RC cause of you and Kevin who bashes a lot. I bought the Hoss cause of your video to go with my Maxx. I stay in Houston area though and work 75 hours a week. I don't think I can make it to racing events much, but I am looking forward to your team progress and hopefully to see yall in the future!!
If someone's never done RC car racing it's so much fun and this is a great video but still so much more fun in real life get out there and try it! On road racing helped him now he's just got to get used to the dirt!
At about 14:50 he is doing those whoops like a boss. Hits the apex of the out corner perfectly. Dude is a good driver from my perspective as an absolute beginner.
rock on thats what i want to get into in my city right now but im trying to figure out what rig i should by for the 1/8 scale 4wd truggy brushless setup
Could you show us the pills you are running for A-B-C-D blocks? Also do you run the steering limiter screws like the manual shows in the C- steering block?
This is cool, I live in Austin local to Thornhill, been wanting to try out offroad, need to find the time and money to build, I'm hoping to get a Tekno as well.
Mark you inspired me to start my own team! #StoryRacing was born this weekend! I just received my shirts and stickers. My teammate is my 15 year old son, he's also into photography. We are starting in novice with stock Slashes! Thanks for all the pointers and advice 🤘🤙
Where could I get some MSM stickers and cool t-shirt just wondering if you have 3x that is a cool purple and orange shirt you showed in the video. Love all your videos been watching you for a while now.
Thats a team driver color but if you send us an email merch@msmvlog.com and we can check what colors for that size. Each shirt order comes w a mask and stickers (limited time)!
Looks so much fun im new but with everything going on and me taking care of my nephew ... Its hard but we have a couple cars nothing really good but couple got us into it just wish we had better places to go too to race or bash....buts its a fun bonding experience. Besides the snakes we breed
Your buddies buggy looked hard to hold on to, My advice would be increase ride hight a bit, and run alot of droop. But what do I know, lol. (Edit) it looked better on the second run, but I think Your right... a little too much throttle!
Hey mark my fav rc driver if u could give me some tips on my losi mini b that will be awesome I use to race with u back a couple years ago at mike hobby shop great guy 💯
Hey man i was wondering if someone could help me find the problem with my kyosho inferno neo 3.0 ve, so the problem is that when i try to hit the brakes in my car, it seems like they are bot doing anything, they are really weak, do you think its a problem with the esc or not?
Great job wish I could be a part of everything I’m up here in the Northeast we need to bring a big facility here spread the word or let’s talk I’m game

Well done Chase both on your first big race with MSM (and on mostly wearing a mask, looks like you were the only one in the whole place)!

Congratulations Chase, great stuff Mark, I will be getting my Tekno after spring break!
I'm totally new and discovered I have a local track here in Georgia. This channel has been very informative.
Is no one going to talk about the guy who is giving the finger at 1:50 😂
I noticed it too and came to the comments to see if anyone mentioned it
I thought the same but he didn't it was the longhorn sign!!
@@SoulciaLight That is 100% middle finger.
I saw that noo. Didn't know if it was a friend messing with Mark, or just an as*hole
Ooh MSM team driver. Mark, are you opening this up for applications? If so how do we apply?
The big race is some of the best content 👌

Mark you got me interested in racing, got my spec slash. You should run a class out in thorn hill
The green dirt and white tubing really make the track pop out.
Awesome job totally jealous keep up the good work bud
That track is clean.
That track is so nice.
1:51 I see this guy flipping you off for no reason and you can see he is looking strait towards you can’t believe how rude some people are
Dude was super tough...

Great vid Mark 👏👍
How do I find local club racing in my area ?
Any race tracks or hobby shops near by?! Maybe 1-2 hours away if not??!
Time stamp 1:49. The guy in line for next race flipped you off! No one likes those kinds of guys in the hobby.
I saw that too
Fairly certain that's a friend of Mark. Seen him in several of his videos.
bought some rcbody armor thanks for the heads up...
Wish like hell we could've made it!
We need to schedule OTT Episode one-hundo!
Turning down the steering speed is usually a better adjustment than curve. On the Futaba 85-90% is money.
