It's a reference to Sonic Forces. To sum it up, Infinite faces off against Shadow and loses badly. Before Shadow leaves, he says to Infinite "Don't show your pathetic face around me ever again." Then Infinite keeps saying to himself that he's not weak. (Hence, Infinite's mask over Steven Universe's head in the beginning)
