Well, if previous seasons have taught me anything, they'll be fine during their first trip to the Nether, and then when they inevitably forget something, *that's* when everything will go wrong
piglins really aint all that. I am more scared of them falling in lava or dying to blazes and wither skeletons

It sorta depends on how big of a horde they run into, being as, unless they follow Chad's advice, they're literally constantly-hostile pigmen, and pigmen have caused ample amounts of problems for them in past seasons.
(They pretty much caused Season 2 to fall apart, claimed every demise of Season 4, caused a major clusterfuck in S5 before they reached the fortress, and claimed two casualties in S6.)
@@maelstromofchaos2489 Okay but season 4 was easily the cleanest season they had. Only two casualties and it was relatively painless after the group's second Nether run.
They definitely have caused lots of problems though.
@@maelstromofchaos2489 I'm just speaking from personal expierence that I have never worn gold in the nether and the only time I even got attacked was right outside the portal. It can be a minor inconvinience

Jirard is a real hero. When Chad died, he went on a personal pursuit against that Enderman. And now he's heading straight into the Nether, risking his life, for the greater good. Now I just want to see a Super Beard Bros. Minecraft Hardcore.

the editing was amazing during chad's fight with the enderman, where the music stopped when the enderman teleported "away" as if the danger was gone, but in reality it was still very present, and very deadly.
Now that I think about it, I’m kind of glad that amber died relatively early.
Not because I didn’t like her, I actually really liked the dynamic her and Lucajin had, I’m just glad because we’ve been spared of all the potential among us jokes that her Minecraft skin absolutely would have caused.

I've always enjoyed the way this show's use of music from Disgaea, Xenogears, and FFT, among others. Instantly recognizable for me and grabs my attention in a passive way, like any good soundtrack.

@@TheKaseke Persona 3 has some interesting ideas behind it but it is just so goddamn slow. I don't mean in the sense of a slow-paced narrative. I mean the game suffers heavily from outdated design on older hardware that bogs down the pace of the action and the flow of one gameplay element to another. And to top that off, the antiquated nature of this design is felt heavily in he combat where Person 4 and eventually 5 would improve it by leaps and bounds.
I want to replay 3 but Jesus is it a slog.

Those phantoms made this episode 10 times scarier, I honestly thought Peebs would've died to them cause he got hit a crap ton from them.
They don't actually do that much damage iirc, I mean we watched Chad get hit and it did a half heart, and Peebs has a diamond helmet too
I know they don't do a lot of damage but that was still pretty scary. I don't even think that they showed how much health Peebs had or if he was full on hunger so yeah, it could've been a lot worse than expected.

Lucah has a lot of *approximate* knowledge, when it comes to Minecraft. She thinks meat is used to domesticate wolves, and she thinks wheat is needed to lure chickens. :p

I also like how everyone is just dunking on Chad and making jokes about it when they all seemed legitimately sad when Amber died.
TBF, Jirard did make an asshole comment about him not dying first soon after the fact of Amber's death. Even if the others did call her out, Chad's quip of "You call yourself a *gamer!?* Freakin' going AFK?" was moving back towards a comedic postmortem comment.
quick tips to defeat endermen so this never happens again:
#1: Water, endermen will refuse to touch this stuff voluntarily so attacking from a river is advantageous. Alternatively carry water buckets to create safe havens no matter where you are
#2: walls, putting your back to a wall gives you massive advantage as is eliminates being attacked from behind. If you don't see a wall, using blocks can help though it is a bit risky unless you are a fast builder
#3: formation, if no other options are available, you can use the fact you are in a group to have players in a psuedo circle so the endermen can't teleport behind anyone without teleporting ahead of someone else.
these are generally prerecorded. and sometimes hcs have rules against that kind of stuff. also third person is another good helpful tip for defeating endermen

So this is Chadronic's first death in Hardcore, huh. At least he will be eating lasagna in heaven. Also, pretty cool how Fred got reincarnated, but without his eye. Also, it will be sad if Lucajin dies because Jack would be waiting for her to come back just like Waffle did for Luke in Hardcore 7.

Endermen during the day can be stupid unpredictable for some reason. I don't completely blame Chad for letting his guard down there. Notice how that enderman completely started to just teleport away after killing Chad. I'm surprised they managed to track it down.
Also Phantoms are such a stupid addition to this game. The mechanics behind them are communicated so poorly that the majority of new players won't even understand why they spawn. Their existence is also blatantly anti-gameplay cuz it encourages you to skip one of the only times where danger occurs naturally. And if all that wasn't bad enough, they're incapable of actually posing anything resembling a threat once armor is involved. Did you notice the group had full health when running away? That's because they do less damage than a standard zombie.
I've taken a LOT of Ls to daytime endermen. However, just in general it's terrifying when they warp away and you have no clue where they are.
Oh yeah and I love how phantoms are no threat unless you have one single piece of leather armor or less, or there's 50 of them.

agreed. Endermen during the day are sometimes more dangerous than at night. Simply because they de-aggro randomly, then re-aggro a second later. making you think "Oh they de-aggroed" only to just pull a 180 and slap you to death
@@Jazardly tbf, from what I understand, people weren't really given a description of what phantoms would do. And even then, I think the idea could have been implemented better, but phantoms are just in this weird awkward spot where they're unintuitive and not even threatening.
Chad didn't let his guard down, he just got Nightcrawler flanked. Unless he was spinning with his mouse sensitivity turned way up, there's no way he could have protected himself if he didn't have a hot dog bun of blocks to back into.

You know they joked about reincarnating into a dog but that would actually be a really fun twist for one of the HC seasons- someone dies, if the party befriends a dog then that person who died gets to play as the dog now, only they can't speak as a dog so everyone talks to them like a dog in communicating 😂
As a Minecraft newbie, Endermen are TERRIFYING. I definitely thought it was dead too. And now they're going into the Nether, sans the person who expressed the most knowledge about the new Nether (Piglins). 😟
But look on the bright side: The Minecraft gods may have taken Chad away, but they have finally given Lucah a dog! 🐶
Sad to see Chad go but that last enderman fight was the most anime moment way to die to. Enderman avenged the other one.
I absolutely love this cast-rip my boi Chad-you guys should bring back Peebs’ brother for the next season that would be so cool! :D

Minecraft Hardcore: THE PHANTOM MENACE
To all the kids who didn't get Jon's horrible, "Now we're just 'and Friends,'" reference, 30 years ago, there was a Saturday morning cartoon called Garfield and Friends. The and Friends part started pretty rough, but evolved into a funny and worthwhile part of the show. But it was never better than the Garfield part, damn it damn it damn it.

Those night terrors are a pain, I’ve never encountered them in game myself as I always sleep, but seeing people play the game and encounter them is always shocking.
Sad to see Chad eat it tho, he’s one of two cast members I actually enjoyed watching this play through :(
