So refreshing to see someone use their thrifted items in their home and not just for resale. I look forward to your videos every week. Happy decorating
Julie, you found so many beautiful items. Those afghans were gorgeous! Then that little white bowl with the lid, perfect for a tree just like you did. Now, my most favorite item, that beautiful wreath!!! Those are soooo expensive, so you did fantastic. I tell you, your thrift stores have so much more things and so much nicer. Guess it all has to do with where you live. Great styling. I so enjoy your videos and how you take us along then style your treasures. Have a blessed week. See ya again soon. 😊❤😊❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
That wreath is my favorite. But the homemade throws are a treasure. Love the tree in the sugar bowl. So cute. You come up with duch nice ideas. It's easy to see that you love what you do. Thank you for sharing your decor with us all. ❤
Julie I love watching you I get a lot of happiness out of seeing that things that you buy how you use them but sometimes you forget to tell us how you clean some of these
It's Julie it's true that it is so refreshing to see somebody like yourself who also thrifts for the Love of it the thrill of the find and only from my home or a friend or family I do not resale some of the items I find thank you Miss Julie
*Julie, I would have purchased the oak jewelry box with the beautiful midnight blue lining❣️💙 😍 It was SO pretty...swoon‼️🤎🥰* *My favorite item you bought was the ironstone Nativity Set. I really liked the silver metal trim because it was so unique and different, so I was a little disappointed when you said you were removing that - but I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN (and TRUSTED YOUR JUDGEMENT) when you said it looked cheap and the trim HAD TO GO‼️ My jaw HIT THE FLOOR when I saw how ABSOLUTELY STUNNING THE NATIVITY SET WAS with the crazing next to the stained, wooden Christmas trees with their simple lines❣️🥰 Such understated elegance and reverence for the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ❣️💜☝️ ✝️ My 2nd favorites are the crocheted blankets. 😉🎍🎄*
You'd have thought I was crazy if you could actually hear me going on and on about those beautiful afghans. I love dainty feminine throws like them. Also, I had to laugh when you panned away from where you placed the wreath on the wall. If you get a chance, watch it back and look how it looks like a person with a face in the middle of it and the lampshade looks like from the neck down it's wearing a dress. It was positioned in the perfect spot. Lol.
Hi Julie. Great video! Love the hand crocheted Afghans. Absolutely georgeous. My mother use to crochet afghans too. And, I had a Meema too! She made quilts and the tiny stitch doiley's. I have some of their keepsakes. They are priceless to me! 😊
Fu nny, Honey when I first saw the Nativity set I thought it was slightly tacky with the bottom edges. When you removed it it looked great! What a good eye you have for design! Thanks, Marcie from Oregon
Hello Julie. All the items you bought are beautiful. My favorite was the green basket. Today our daughter wanted to go to Target to buy a Gorgi cup she saw on the flyer. She bought it and other Christmas decoration to decorate her bedroom for Christmas. I bought 3 Christmas branches to decorate our Christmas tree. She even found a $5.00-dollar Fire station and it has a light inside. The only one left. It was waiting for me 🥰🥰 It will be part of my Christmas village. Good night. Blessings.
Wonderful shop with me, the store looked stocked. Beautiful afghans. They look great in your living area. Great price on the twig wreath. I really enjoy seeing how you use your thrift items. I like the accordion peg rack and the price was right on
Gorgeous haul, and awesomely styled in your beautiful home! Love to you all from a little old lady in Los Angeles (where we don't have any good stuff at GW or any other thrift stores)! Hi Elizabeth!!! Thanks Julie, for being THE BEST THRIFTER ON RUclips! Eeeeeeeverybody else can and should take lessons from you!!!!!
This was so fun! I'd love for you tospeak to washing second hand items like those afgans (what you use, etc.,) cleaning dirt and grime off of the cup rack & maybe tightening the rivets, and how you get price stickers unstuck from things.❤
Yay, a Julie video, just what I needed after a difficult week! Those flameless candle sets can be very pricey so that was a great price as I use them in my primitive style home. That Goodwill had some awesome things and love the treasures you found. I love the old weathered peg rack🤎🤎. I have several with old wisk brooms, old bonnets, vintage children’s clothes and herbs/flowers that I dry from my gardens. I LOVE the afghans, great find! Debby, New York
Evening miss Julie ! Ah you put me in the holiday spirit ! I love everything you brought home…. Especially the nativity - that is super gorgeous. Wish I had that . And oh my goodness !!! Last week I picked up a similar sugar bowl ( missing her top) and I’m using it to hold measuring spoons-BUT NOW I may look for a small tree to put inside . Thanks for oodles of inspiration as usual . Have a blessed week ahead. ❤xx
Hay Julie Enjoying my saturday morning cup of tea watching you. I only get candles from the charity shops they are so expensive i also buy a lot of body stuff from the charity shops .xxx
Your stores has so much great items to choose from ,here in my town not so much, you definitely hit the jackpot!! Your home is beautiful!!Blessings to you❤😊
Sale Day!!I love the red English pillow. Need a forehead strap camera !! Ha Ha. J is for Joy!! If I were using the darling tea pot for myself at Christmas I would hot glue a ribbon to cover up the chips! Happy Holidays Y’all I enjoy your videos. Grandma in TX :)
Love all the items you found. I so wish we had a goodwill closer to us. I would have to take a day and just go. Love the nativity set you found. So pretty.
I love all your videos and you inspire me to want to make my home as homey and welcoming as yours. I cant wait to see more Christmas content. Wishing you and your family a blessed November.🩷
The Afghans are beautiful. The natural wreath looks perfect on that brick wall. If you wanted to jazz it up for Christmas you could just add a few red berries. You have such great finds and prices at your thrift stores
I agree with the comment below. It is nice to see how a home can be decorated really well on a budget. Thank you for the videos you put out. I live in Australia and our op shops are nothing like yours, I am so jealous.
Absolutely gorgeous Julie love the Wreath Afghans and the lovely Nativity pieces Thankyou for another fantastic video I feel you excitement every time ❤
I try and avoid looking at coffee cups because I don't want to be tempted to buy one! I can't stand anything coffee-tasting, & don't drink much hot tea. I have more than a usable amount already in my cupboard, plus, other treasured cups in a box in the garage. Sigh.---I'm a bit surprised you took off the silver border on the nativity trio. I like that you got the look you were after tho'.---On that afghan color-change, doncha suppose she had a DARN moment when she ran out of yarn & had to run to the store to get more!
Hi Julie! I know exactly what you mean about decorating for Christmas without screaming Christmas. I would have grabbed that green basket in a heartbeat. I would likely use it with a linen Christmasy napkin and served rolls on it or something like that. Great shopping day. I'm off to the thrift stores tomorrow 😊 Your friend Kristine
So refreshing to see someone use their thrifted items in their home and not just for resale. I look forward to your videos every week. Happy decorating
Thank you so much!
I'm with you on that one I buy for my home not to make money

That Nativity set goes perfectly with the natural wood. You are so clever to see the potential in items; removing that trim made such a difference ❤
Glad you took the metal off the nativity figures…really elevated the look. Great video.
So so very happy you got the afghans, stunning. Love the size, color, everything. I would have paid that in a sec
Thank you 😊 they are so gorgeous!
This is Grandma from Texas and you are just precious.
Those afghan are a treasure! Hard to believe those precious memories were discarded! Also that sweet nativity set!! Such good finds!!
Thank you 😊 I love them all too!
Agreed! As someone who crochets, between the yarn and the hours of work involved, the $10 pricetag is worth it!
That fish would fit perfectly in with my coastal decor!
The afghans are great.
That stich is called Corner 2 Corner.
I make these all the time!
Thank you ☺️
That wreath is my favorite. But the homemade throws are a treasure. Love the tree in the sugar bowl. So cute. You come up with duch nice ideas. It's easy to see that you love what you do. Thank you for sharing your decor with us all. ❤
