The Southern Living piece I have since the 90’s. I use it for Memorial Day and July 4th by using red white and blue ribbons all along the holes. It’s a fun piece.
I just bought some things from a garage sale & since I'm homebound they brought them to me. I told them I was looking for a candy dish. When he brought my things, he said i brought you a candy dish...it was a beautiful Spode Christmas tree raised side about 8-10 inches long. I was so grateful. Yes nice people are still out there.
I use thirfted barstools for plant holders. I have two in my husband little office with a board across them holding housplants that requires some sun and warmth the winter time. 🌲🌲🌲
👵💜when my children were little my Mom gave me a starter set of the Spode Christmas tree china. Each year I added to it. Now my daughter uses it at Christmas and all the memories go with it.
I used to sell Southern Living at HOME! Those dress me up plates were SO CUTE! You can do different ribbons around through the holes. You can use as a cake plate OR you can write on them with dry erase markers. I wish I was in town I would go grab them right now! I gave all mine away as gifts!
I think the dress me up plate is designed so that you can add ribbon, garland etc through the slots to :dress me up", also would you PLEASE ask your daughters to do a home tour for the holidays???? I love seeing "my kind of ideas" not the house beautiful type design, but mre the Country living style! The trees on the spreaders being upside down in the small pitcher bothered me too. They look much cuter in the small wocker tray!
I saw one of those metal plate display racks on a shelf it your goodwill. They are nice to hang on your wall if you have fancy plates but, I bought one for my shed, I lay my trowels, clippers and such across them to keep my tools in easy reach.😊
I looked it up and you can do all kinds of stuff with it You can run ribbon around it for different occasions. You can use the holes and twist silverware up and stand it up in it and put a larger bowl in the center of it with chips or something like that in it. It's a neat concept if you'd have a use for it
The pictures are pretty pricey for being donated. Our store just finally re-established the color of the week. They stopped it during the height of Covid. I'm glad its back.
My only thought on the Dress Me Up Plate was that you could weave ribbon or fabric in and out of the cut outs - maybe strands of beads or some type of greenery vines. You could even change it out depending on the season. The only thing holding you back would be your imagination. Blessings, Janell
I have one, you can write on it with dry pen, put ribbon through it. I have in on a plate rack in my breakfast room. There is a company called The Write Plate where you can get magnetic decor to go on it.
Hi Julie! You should research Spode Christmas items. I recently learned that the Spode Christmas tree is unique because it has a Santa on top of the tree. Merry Christmas!
Spode is expensive. The way you can tell it is spode is by the Santa at the top of the tree instead of a star. Collectors go crazy for Spode. You did good.
Law, you're killing me. I can't afford to thrift now, I need to finish my Christmas shopping, and those items can't be found in a thrift shop (gift cards, specific items} Guess I'll just continue watching you, and dreaming for that day....lol. Enjoy!
I always choose to removed the original tickets from my donated items most shoppers know the value of sought out merchandise. Those pictures priced for $49.99 and $24.99 is why.
Your prices are so great! I live in Texas in city that's pretty big so naturally prices are higher. I need to shop further out of city to check prices!
I have seen folks use a dress me up plate and write a child’s full name, birth weight and height and birthdate as a baby gift. I see that the prices, especially the framed print at $49.99 was highly overpriced! Great video and haul. Bet Elizabeth looked lovely in her outfit!
Good morning Julie! I love your shopping trips and wanted to make a comment on that very large gold tone brassy gold frame I envision hanging horizontally above fireplace mantel. What a beautiful back drop to a mantel full of Christmas decor! And the price incredible! Have a blessed holiday!
Julie, the plate is made for ribbon to be woven through the holes for different holiday’s or celebrations. It doesn’t necessarily have to be ribbon, material could also be used 💕🙏🙏😊
Wow! ✨The Spode was a great find! Love how you put them together with the butter dish. I’ve seen tables set with that pattern; it’s gorgeous. Merry Christmas 🎄
Can I been honest? I ve been thinking no baskets for vlog mass??? I m on the hunt for a big one to store my wool in. Nice and tidy I love to find practical items. You recieve what you are sowing xxx
Hi Julie- such a nice haul and styling. Love the vintage-y butter dish . You got a GREAT deal on the spreaders…I bought the same exact set at Home Goods costing $5 !!!! This should make you feel even better about your buy! They look cute in the basket. Cannot wait for tomorrows vid! Always always innovative ideas from you …I get your channel at 7:00 pm Up here in New Jersey- and I settle down and wait for you ! Have a great evening ❤Marilyn xx
I googled it because I had no idea either. You run a ribbon in and out (weave) the holes. Display like a wreath or put something in the middle to display. Kinda unusual really!
Maybe someone else has mentioned this; the paper cups say $2.50 for EIGHT 7 oz. cups, but there is clearly more than just 8 cups in that package. I would be cautious as it may be someone slipped the cups into another packaging after removing them from their original package.
Hi Julie! I have a cake stand similar to that platter, it came with a green ribbon that you wove thru and then tied into a big bow. It makes a plain old frosted cake/birthday cake or even a clear bowl of fruit/ salad look sort of festive! A cute little dress for Elizabeth. Hoping that she as well as your whole family will make appearances during Vlogmas🥰 😊

They would weave seasonal ribbon through the holes to dress it up.
I'm a Kansas girl that loves sunflowers! The crock with the sunflowers would be perfect as an utensil holder in my kitchen. 🌻
Nice outing and you have treasures! 👍💕
Wish we had thrifting places like you do,ty❤
These videos are so much fun!! I only wish I was there with you ❤️
Spoke is well made
the white dress me plate was for adding seasonal ribbons. love the spode spreaders. I feel the gingerbread pan was dishwasher damage.
They would weave a ribbon through the holes for seasonal decoration.

Whoa! $50 for that artwork was high! I didn't find anything impressive about it for that price! A lot of the bigger art pieces were high
Cool
