I think the song is about two people who love each other but at least one of them is damaged from earlier relationships and is afraid of being in a relationship because it could fail. That'd explain the lines "We've had enough of love" and "I break the chains that you pull away". You can't really do something about love. It's not something you choose - and when you fall in love after getting hurt many times ... I think it feels like this. I mean it could also be about a dysfunctional relationship but I don't think so because of the lines "Let me in to us", "feel it deep inside", "feel my heartbeat" etc. It sounds like the other part wants a relationship.

I was actually new to Monstercat when this came out, I actually enjoy both, the new stuff (since they are somehow more attractive to me such as Bishu, Bad Computer and a few other stuff too, mainly because I'm into some varieties of edm), but I do enjoy stuff like this right here too (I remembered this one and Swamp Thing before), and just a few months ago now I also jammed out on Halcyon by him (Au5) & Fractal (when I was listening throughout the Dawn mix of 013). :) Have you also checked out Nitro Fun's new track "Time Goes By"? It's got a bit of a similar style to this one here. :)
The thing is that with Au5 when he tries to put in unique elements into a song hes never done, it always fits PERFECTLY with all his other instruments.
