It'd be so fun to go see a QI show being recorded, these little snippets are even more hilarious than the broadcast show, maybe instead of QI XL, we should have QI After Dark... :D
Would definitely recommend going. Check on SRO Audiences. They tend to film around March and they can go for about 2-3 hours so it makes for a nice evening. I can’t believe how fast they’re pumping these out now. Series U wasn’t that long ago. I think, now they’re getting to the end, they just want to rush and get it done
What do you mean? They still release one every year, just as in the past. They don't appear to have sped up at all. Keep in mind that series U started in 2023, and finished in 2024. Series V started last year and will finish this year. Every year sees the release of a new series, and sometimes they run into the next year, sometimes they don't. But it still ends up as one new letter each year since the start in 2003.
They've been doing one series of roughly 16 episodes per year for 20 years. They're pumping them out at exactly the same rate. You have just gotten 20 years older and therefore you feel, as we all do, that time passes faster and faster.
@davidhoward4715 Why do you think I know Josh Widdicome sucks? And that wasn't a joke. Here's the thing, humour requires imagination and the intelligence to use it. Until you have both you really shouldn't comment. Josh Widdicome is a whiny "C" word. It's the same sort of sad soul that likes him.
@angemaidment5640 Not insulting internationally. But thinking his whining was about humour shows a very distinct lack of a sense of humour. Widdicome wasn't joking, he was whining. That's patently obvious to anyone who knows how jokes work.

They should release at least an hour's worth of the banter that was cut from the final versions. I absolutely adore these bits.
