@@VehVeloMedia I know but after 8 years I was getting bored of it. I've had my eye on the Outlander for like a year. I finally went to a dealership and test drove one and decided to pull the trigger while my Jeep was still worth something as a trade in. I was impressed how smooth the Outlander drove - like a Cadillac! 😂
@@superx9619 Nice is it a 2.5 or a 3.0 and congrats on the new ride by the way. I just saw one went past me and made me thought about you. They are real nice
@@VehVeloMedia thanks it's 2.5 motor. It's the only option here in Canada. It has enough power feels similar to the Patriot acceleration wise, just smoother and less noisey. I'll tell you the truth I was always against CVT transmissions, swore I'd never buy one. But that one video you did of your Patriot CVT transmission lasting almost 200,000 miles before it broke - I thought dang it lasted him that long - they can't be that bad and I wasn't stressed out over the Outlander having the CVT so I pulled the trigger on it. Another thing I discovered AFTER buying it is that Nissan and Mitsubishi have a joint venture and these generation Outlanders have the Nissan Rogue engine and CVT transmission. It's basically a Nissan Rogue with Mitsubishi styling.
@@superx9619 Your CVT will last alot longer than the Patroit. its better built. Im shocked mines even last that long its been through alot. I had no idea Nissian and Mitsubishi had a joint venture until now. Thats pretty dope. I bet it handles better too than the Patriot as well. You probably will get 300,000 out that Outlander
Nice Wrangler! My Patriot is gone now too. Traded it in for a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander 2 weeks ago 😊
Thanks! You got rid of the Patriot what happened. It had low miles on it lol
