When you know and recognize the quality of musicians and their music of both bands, it is inevitable not to cry with emotion pff with such an emotional closing, thank you Chicago and thank you Earth, Wind & Fire 🙏🏽 one of my favorite concerts of a lifetime!
I fully agree with you, Sven !!! I'm 71 too (I was born on 10 September 1951) and today is my birthday. Like you, I have always loved and followed Chicago, from the very beginning, and will continue to do so forever !!! Thanks, Franco
Bravissimo Carlo !!! Il termine "SUPER GROOVE" rende perfettamente l'idea !!! In 55 anni di esperienza musicale, è una delle poche cose "eccezionali" che abbia mai visto o ascoltato ! Veramente FANTASTICI !!!
Are you kidding me?! Iron sharpens iron. Chicago and Earth wind & fire? If between these two bands they can't say it musically, It simply cannot be said. They are simply the best and then there's the rest. If I cannot say enough about them it is because not enough can be said. Awesome post thank you! I can die happy now❤❤
Hello everyone and thank you for your comments and considerations on the video I published: Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire at the Greek Theatre. The concert was recorded in August 2004 at the Greek Theatre of Los Angeles - California (USA) and the DVD was released on June 28, 2005. Since all the comments come to me from abroad (in English), I also insert my preface in this language, also adding the missing data. If you want to know more details (names of the musicians, etc.), please let me know ....! Thanks anyway to everyone !!! Have a good listening !!! Hello everyone ... and thanks for your comments and appreciation on the video I posted. Chicago Transit Authority (as I mentioned previously) was, is and always will be one of the best "horny" jazz/blues bands I have ever heard. I was born in 1951 and I began my first musical experiences in 1960 (at the age of 9) playing the flute in a symphony orchestra. Then I continued with the various "rock bands", playing flute, bass, guitar, keyboards, and singing! I have had dozens, maybe hundreds of musicians with me, many of them very good !!! Perhaps the most "BRAVO" group I had was "REMEMBER LED ZEPPELIN". If you go to my RUclips channel, simply by typing "Franco Pupeschi", you can see some good videos. Today, at the age of 72, I still carry on, undaunted!!! Just a few minutes ago my weekly rehearsals with the "LIVE" group ended, which take place weekly in my basement. Once a week, I also dedicate an evening to a "KARAOKE" group, always in my basement. Thanks again to everyone for your comments and considerations on my publications. See you soon, Franco Pupeschi
Awesome - classy musician's arms without tattoos! Trombonist Pankow is in terrific physical shape for a man in his late 70's. The Earth, Wind and Fire bass guy in yellow looks like he studied the Muppet moves from Dr. Teeth & the Electric Mayhem.
Maurice White (Memphis, December 19, 1941 - Los Angeles, February 4, 2016) was an American singer-songwriter, musician and record producer. He is best known for being the founder and frontman of Earth, Wind & Fire. I think, with your R.I.P. you want to remember that, right? Thanks, Franco 🙂

Thanks for this post! Grateful for RUclips!
Wow. This was fantastic! Where are the other ~ 2000 people that have seen this but didn't write a comment? Thanks for posting this. Loved it!

Assume sound from both bands combined into one. True musicians.
they always impress .... and stay tight
Fabulosos!!!!
Súper gran concierto
GRACIAS POR SUBIRLO 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍
Rock ‘n’ roll forever!!!
I love it. God bless the American empire.
I was worried about Chicago until Robert Lamm took over the vocals around the 9 minute mark.
Boss Bad what a treat!
The base line in BOTH groups ..let that resonate ❤️
Wow - this is the epitome of tight performance - completely in the zone, and they all are having a blast! Great production, too - what year was this?
2004
Great concert! The best of both these bands is timeless music
So good
R&B, Soul, Funk and Rock
Who doesn’t love rock?
F*kg amazing!
Funny that Bill Champlin's vocal histrionics worked better with the EWF stuff than with his own Chicago songs.
