Thank you and God so much for bringing this sermon to me today. I have been struggling in my marriage and this is exactly what I needed to hear. I always love your messages. I had tears in my eyes. I see now I need to repent and change going forward. As someone who was raised in the new age belief system it has been so hard but so good to learn Gods ways. I pray and thank God that these low points always come, because He has a break through planned. It will keep me more sturdy the next time I am feeling weak. I saved this so I can listen again and again as I’m sure I will need to. Blessings be to you and your ministry ❤

Jonah 3 KJV 9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? 10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not. Repentance is a change of mind . 🤔 If repentance means to stop sinning, what sin did God stop doing? Genesis 6 KJV 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
Proverbs is a strange book for me. In the first ⅓ of it, wisdom is personified as a woman (as is foolishness), showing how the Church primarily and individual Christians secondarily are to live. Then it goes into a good long stretch of seeming random proverbial statements, only for the last few chapters to pick up the personifications of Lady Wisdom and Harlot Folly again. I'm having a hard time getting a grip on how it's structured and arranged
Throughout the Scripture, "a harlot" is used to describe a false worship of God. There are ways to protect oneself from falling into the clutches of a false religion that "looks like" the truth. -Know the Law -Keep the Law - Don't listen to anyone opposing the Law ...... This means we don't pick and choose which laws we keep. We hold God's word as fact, and man telling us it's okay to eat bacon as a lie. ..... This means we don't keep man-made traditions of false Christmas trees and bunnies, but instead remember God's commanded Feasts in Scripture. Pretending to obey while in our hearts, we love bacon so much we sacrifice it in our bodily temple in rebellion to God's Law, is falling for the deception of a harlots false teaching! Wake up, you have been led astray from God's commands! We are to bind them to our children, not tell them some of His Laws are done away with. Read Deuteronomy 30 and see what brings Him back to regather us???Obedience to His Law!

For behold, the Lord will come with fire And with His chariots, like a whirlwind, To render His anger with fury, And His rebuke with flames of fire. 16 For by fire and by His sword The Lord will judge all flesh; And the slain of the Lord shall be many. 17 “Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves, To go to the gardens After an idol in the midst, Eating swine’s flesh and the abomination and the mouse, Shall be consumed together,” says the Lord.
And what made me so mad 😠 is that I love the Lord and I love this girl soooo much that it hurts me just thinking she can have any pain of any type and I brought her there so I feel guilty adding to it the disappointment we both experienced this evening Of course there is forgiveness so no biggie God is good Just don’t push it lol 😂
So I am new to AZ and I’ve heard about these 2 and read some of their books. I’m Presbyterian Reformed and I’m a 💯 Van Til and Bahnsen reader for years so once I moved to AZ what better church to go but Apologia church right? I’ve been taking my girlfriend who loves the Lord but never been to a Reformed church so my first thought was again Apologia Church. She did say I don’t know about this Jeff guy? 🤨 My reply was Nah come on he’s one of the good guys And he is a good teacher I wish as much as I’ve read Van TIL and Bahnsen I could expound then like him. Anyway so the doubt I had was completely removed today when we parked he pulled in like a bat out of hell right next to my car blocking the passenger side where my girlfriend couldn’t get out. I am such a fool I thought after I said hey she can’t get out He would have said oh my let me move so she can get out I’m sorry (maybe sorry is a stretch but you get me right? Well surprise surprise what an Ass he could care less (She has a bad ACL which with the very little to zero room to get out would have caused her pain to squeeze out he doesn’t know I give him that) But to just ignore the blatantly obvious (there was no room) He could give a rats ass I even said sarcastically “oh come on you ca get out” when she had a hard time doing it due to her injury. Again who cares is what I got out of this guy ayayay this is too much😂 What a disappointment for me she was right and we laughed about it she’s such an awesome girl and a blessing to my life btw 🥰 Was it that hard to just back up a little so she could get out? 🤦🏻🤷🏻 nope he but chose the jerk path . She was so right when she said “Don’t worry I guess that’s how people act when no one is watching 🤦🏻” On another note I wonder if the people who preach from that pulpit realize the chaos that goes on during service? The husbands and wives fighting snatching the diapers from the spouses with such an upset face as they get up to change the child you certainly can’t be so blind to miss it, The girls doing crocheting during service and all the stuff that distracts people which makes me wonder just exactly how well are the feed and how happy and joyful do they leave the service? Do they talk to each other “I was so blessed were you? 😳😞 that’s it for now just a little food for thought.
See how you are building yourself up and trying to destroy Pastor Jeff and his reputation? You could have spoken to him privately first. And dropped your girlfriend at the door. Becareful slandering. Notice how your language changed as well. Examine your heart. 📖

We are commanded not to work on Sabbath. We are commanded what animals are food. We are commanded what Feasts to keep. To disobey is following a harlot religion. It is why we must obey God's Law as ornaments around our necks and on our heads so we won't be deceived into false worship that God hates.

Repent also means to "turn away from.". But it also means to stop sinning. Depending on how it's being used.
