Great video! I'm an F1 and had a radiology taster week recently. It only took 1 day to have the realisation that radiology is the career for me. Good luck with everything!
Hi many thanks for your videos. I was very keen on ENT but now thinking for a swap to radiology. What are the requirements? I'm struggling to find the portofolio checklist like we do for ENT?
Hi! Unfortunately, radiology don't publish their portfolio self-assessment checklist like CST and ENT ST3 do. On the RCR website, there is a person specification outlining radiology selection criteria on the following link: specialtytraining.hee.nhs.uk/portals/1/Content/Person%20Specifications/Clinical%20Radiology/CLINICAL%20RADIOLOGY%20-%20ST1%202022.pdf . In the document they mention the types of evidence they desire, such as degrees, audit, prizes, presentations, publications, teaching involvement, etc. I highly recommend reading that document and trying to tailor your portfolio to that. A taster week with signed letter to confirm attendance is also essential. Good luck!
my nose honestly hasn't changed much over the last year. i don't really have any such symptoms. My smell is probably 80% back. Pretty much all healthcare staff are vaccinated for covid over here (including myself). Good luck!

Thank you, and well done on making the wisest decision of your career to date ;)
Did you do your taster weeks during core surgical training?
Can you please mention which hospital you managed to find a tertiary centre
