No one is going to be able to run the ball on the Lions. Running QBS we have stuggled with in the past, we will see how we do this year. As for RBS last year we only allowed 4 rbs to rush for over 60yds on us and now we added Reader and Davenport. This defense is coming into the season super underrated but with a bunch of players going into year 2, 3 and 4 and I believe this defense has the talent now and the tools to be a top 10 defense in the NFL this year. Yall will see.
The Seahawks always find away to beat the Lions
12-5, split with the Bears and Packers, lose to Cardinals in an upset, Texans, and 49ers. This team was a couple bad breaks from the Super Bowl last year and on paper got better. How they handle the weight of expectations will be interesting, but on paper the Detroit Lions are a machine. Gonna be fun to see the race between them and Green Bay for the division this year.

12-5 floor, 14-3 ceiling. We have a harder schedule but we are a much better team. We will sweep the Bears and the Vikings.

@@TheBottomLineView we do, but they have a rookie QB this year who imo will struggle. After CJ Stroud had one of the best rookie years of all time I think everyones thinking on rookie QBS is a little scewed this year.
Personally, only thing that makes the season tough, is your opponent! If you believe you can beat them it becomes easier! I believe we match against any team, now how the ability to match, equals wins is a different thing, im going 12-5 cause I don't see a reason we can't match or better last year! We could very well be #1 seed GO LIONS
11-6 sounds fair given the harder schedule.
I'd argue that the harder schedule and division combined with better depth for the team could balance out the same amount of wins as last year but the schedule may most likely make us lose an extra game. That Lions and Niners game is gonna be the scariest game of the regular season

Detroit is 9-3 the last 2 years in the division and 11-7 overall under Dan Campbell even with that awful 1st season. I don’t see the best team they’ve put on the field going .500 in the division when in general they’ve had success there. I see 5-1 or 4-2 in the division. Outside of the division they should go 8-3. They really should win every home game, and they have 6 home games this year out of division. That leaves an away record of 2-3. Even if they slipped up once at home, it’s not wild at all to think they could go 3-2 on the road. Beat Dallas, Arizona, and Indy, and you’re right there.
Kind of comical that you have the Lions beating the Cowboys on the road and losing to the Vikings🧐. I think they win both games (and possibly young AR and the Colts). The Lions swept Minnesota last year, but you might not have looked at that. Indoor games are where Goff excels. They will have a rookie QB in a new system (or perennial backup Darnold) facing the much improved Lions defense. Lions scored 30 pts twice against Flores defense in 2023. 12-5 (maybe 13-4). Lions want the #1 seed. So they won’t be afraid of going on the road to Green Bay, Chicago or Indy, or SF. Houston will be electric primetime. It’s indoors so again Goff is better in those conditions. I do agree with you that Lions go perfect at home, I just think they will be a little better on the road then the 2-6 you gave them credit for.

I would think any professional team would get their team ready to play any team. Not a trap game against the Lions. They all know Detroit Lions are great. We will win 11 or 12 games. Our defense is going to be much improved.
If I’m not mistaken we beat the Vikings twice last year. If we lose I don’t see it being to the Vikings. Our offense is better this year and our Defense will be much better. The more our rookies play the better they will get.
Disagree on your take on the Bears and Vikings. Lions should crush both teams easily and as for your take on Lions vs 49ers, yes the 49ers won the game but the Lions beat themselves. Dan Campbell made mistakes that he won't repeat. Nuff said!

I agree with that prediction 11-6 or 12-5 sounds right but I think they’ll lose to the cowboys again because the cowboys own the lions and lions will beat the colts because I think the lions are gonna give the colts issues on both sides of the ball
The *NFL* owns the Lions against Dallas. Especially in Dallas! 😂🤷♂️ The league doesn't want to face a reality where the Lions could be better than them. The Colts will be tough because of Anthony Richardson & the line of scrimmage, though. I agree with Mitch on this one. The Colts provide a stalemate & a strength against the Lions. Plus, the planning of Shane Steichen & the coaching staff against the Lions.

i actually like 11-6 or 10-7 for the lions this year. i think they will still be a WC team but the first time in a minute they’ve had a first place schedule they are due to regress
They aren’t due to regress, they’ve kept all their coaches, had a great draft again and added the pieces on defense they needed. A bunch of our Starters are going to be better going into year 2, 3 and 4. This is one of the best rosters in the league. They are winning the divison and getting at least 12 wins.

Seattle’s personnel is just a little different than Baltimore’s was last year 😂 what happened in Baltimore last year won’t happen in Detroit. In the last 2 years Detroit has only 2 home games where they didn’t score over 20 points, and they actually won both of those games, 15-9 and 20-6.
