    Really good watch 🤙🏻 awesome to see proper correct procedures & parts done on a TD. Timing correctly, good clutch choice, good balancer choice, doing the 1.25 genuine gasket with new head bolts, pulling the motor over the box, so much cowboy shit about. Mint work. 🙏🏻

      Completely agree, only extra thing I would have done is drop the coils to make access easier. It is a pain but I used to do it with my old spring over MK patrol SwB and my 4” lifted GQ SWB.

    Love how you have embraced the white, a lot of people just go white because it’s simple but when also added in highlight places like you did with the rocker cover it looks amazing. I personally prefer black engine bays but the white does look awesome.

    Love the video but just curious about the lighter fly wheel and reducing harmonics, wouldnt you be creating more harmonics with a lighter flywheel that hasn't been balanced to suit the rest of the rotating assembly?

    • @jaked6469
      @jaked6469 Год назад +1

      It's a fable mate only way to reduce harmonics is to balance the whole rotating assembly. Balencer, crank, rods, pistons, flywheel and clutch.

    So when you put a 6bt in it and font worry about any bullshit problems let me know. I literally had a GQ 1989 spacecab with a 6bt so don't so I have know idea lol.. my current 2006 td42ti wagon couldn't even get close to the reliability of the 6bt up here in FNQ weipa.

    Tipp from a German - as you know, we know how it goes!
    You need to try this:
    "hau-ruck"
    IF you would have tried THAT, the bumper have come out like a piece of cake.
