TD + turbo, then the fun will start esp on a high k engine! Maybe go for low boost, eg 11mm pump, Max 10psi and she'll hold together ...longer.... Yep, parts for the old GQs are getting like hens' teeth as everyone has had their fun with them, when they were cheap as chips. No more.
We've got several mates that have been running 15psi for several years on 400,000km plus TD42's, they love the boost. The engine we used in this conversion has less than 200,000km, it'll live longer than we will.

I’m doing the same conversion atm, did you boys have to change anything with motor and gearbox mounts??
Where’s the ram ?
The start of the video was in March, before the GQ ute was sold and well before the Ram was bought. More Ram content coming in the next few months!
