Should check out a worx hydroshot portable pressure washer, no need for a ladder on a job like that. Can hit the soffits and facias when it's not too windy and foams up the solution really nicely. I Syphon a solution with ubik 2000 which was recommended to me, it's brilliant stuff
Jacob Ash Sounds good, great tip. Sometimes it’s good to get a job done with whatever you have on hand. But there is nothing like having the right tool for the job.💦😃👍🏼
simon clarke It doesn’t leave any kind of residue like some cleaning products do, it really helps to cut through the dirt though, leaving the roof clean like you would usually expect from using wfp on windows.💦😃👍🏼
So would these chemicals you use kill/damage plants below around the conservatory? I mean if you cleaned the sides using them. Or is it just too weak a solution to worry about it?
Peter Williams This is quite a mild cleaning solution really, so it won’t hurt the plants. It’s great though for cutting through that green algae on the roof.😃👍🏼
There is a 5mm hose the goes up the centre of the pole. This is connected to a pure water filter of some description. At the time I had a mobile version that connected to the outside tap. Now I have a van mounted system. There is more on my channel if you check out the playlists.😃👍🏼
I don't like to use any detergents for water that drains onto my lawn (and not for sewage either). Are there any cleaning agents that are 100% bio-degradable?
Unfortunately it is not just about biodegradability. Sodium Hypo or bleach for example is often used by cleaners and it turns to just salt and water. The salt can damage plants if it builds up. There is also the action of the chemical itself before it degrades. Even humble cleaners like vinegar can have adverse affects in the right context. The best practice is to use a test patch or pay more - probably about a third to a half more - for physical removal using hot water, steam or more labour.
Top Job Bro! I like the stiff bristles from Gardiner. You notice the difference on those types of jobs. (I think you might be able to put one on your unger pole) And I find if I put a ladder up to the guttering of the conservatory I can get a better angle for force and accuracy. Might be quicker than chemicals or might not. Enjoyed the video :)
Glide Cleaning Limited I try to avoid putting a ladder up as you get soaked that way. The cleaning solution is great to cut through the dirt, making the job quicker and the end result better. The applicator is good for scrubbing off those little mould/moss growth you sometimes get.💦😃👍🏼
Very comprehensive. Giving a few options. Thanks
Paul Hickmott Thanks for your comments Paul.😃👍🏼
What mix would you use tfr at

Great and helpful video!
Trad - Man Happy cleaning!💦😃👍🏼
Excellent video! 👏👍
Can ubik 2000 damage potted plants or should I move them?
Probably best to move them, just in case.👍🏼
Is that just a regular extendable pole that you used with the ninja applicator?
Yeah, with an opti-lock cone.👍🏼
Great vid what's the cleaning fluid you use and where's best to purchase?
lee mappley Thanks. It’s just called UPVC max from a company called AIMS Cleaning Hub.😃👍🏼
Have you used UBIK 2000?
Have you also tried an inline soap dispenser? I use the Unger one for conservatories, fascias and soffits. Sovereign Sparkle ltd.
Trevor Reeve No I haven’t. But another method commonly used would be to have a backpack and use a nozzle from DA Components.💦😃👍🏼
Dose upvc max leave a nice shine on white upvc?
simon clarke It doesn’t leave any kind of residue like some cleaning products do, it really helps to cut through the dirt though, leaving the roof clean like you would usually expect from using wfp on windows.💦😃👍🏼
Will the Upvc cleaner contaminate my brush?
No. Just rinse it off afterwards.
Love the ladder
SlowSteadySteve Thanks 😃👍🏼

Dave Landefeld The Window Licker Thanks!😃💦👍🏼

macinead7 It is a Hozelock garden sprayer.😃👍🏼
How is the extendable brush fed, is it through a garden hose or jet washer?

I use ubik but would snow foam be better?
Maybe I should do a video called 101 ways to clean a conservatory roof?😆
Fairy liquid works very well I find
Nice, that’s great. Sometimes I find it’s good to have something a little stronger for those really tough jobs.👍🏼

Biocide is bio-degradable.😃👍🏼
