Thanks for playing my dumb mashup album Jason, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I promise this will be the last mashup album ever made to end with that overplayed Owl City track, ok?
A bit rough in places, general Confusion feels and HUH moments, but there were some great ideas mixed in there. I thought the Blink 182 over the "gimme gimme"s was brilliant. Viewport was my favorite track, regardless of the overplayed samples used. Looking forward to the sequel!
On the heels of greats like Jazzwave and Cosmic Latte, this next generation of mashup makers is still going strong, keeping ahead in the creativity department while still working hard on everything they make!
I hate to criticize mashup artists, especially since it's not things I can do, but it feels like there are so many mashupers out there that take same tempo to mean mashup-able, without regards to key or tune. it really takes me out of it. I think I'm also spoiled by Cosmic Latte and Pluffaduff. That said, SupaTheChest clearly has some talent, and I hope they keep sharpening and honing it! Some of these, like the beginning of "How Smooth" was so great, but then it just de-tuned so much.
This album kept constantly flipping between "Ay wait.,." and "Wait stop.." but man The DJ's High cemented it as a win for me, looking forward to more of Supa's work
I'm listening to this and every once in a while I'm like "oh I remember that song, it was amazing" and start playing it immediately, therefore it took me about an hour to watch this video, just so many memories brought back
Appreciate that! Being slowly ramping things back up here on the YT side. Seems like I picked a good time with all the new Guitar Hero rumors flying around
Some mashup artists find pieces that work togteher, some carefully mould them to work together, and then you get these who slam pieces together regardless of they fit and make it fun. All are valid
Ok, that second song sent me. I have been sent, I'm ascending, I'm going to space and I don't know when touchdown will bring me back round again...Anyway, here's wonderwall
Why does that first song sound exactly like what an album titled "Memories Pulverized" would sound like to me? I mean, I know that's literally what this is, but if I only knew the title, I'd expect something like this. The last one, on the other hand, is the one that actually did the pulverizing.
Weeze Again would be the opening song for an alternate reality version of something like Full House but if it was written by someone like Kazuya Tsurumaki or Kazuki Nakashima and animated by Studio Trigger. And ngl, I'd watch it.
The... dissonance? Keys? Something about almost all of this album makes me feel some kinda nauseous. What on earth lmao Right up until the first half of The DJ's High - which was genuinely great, and then Green Day kicked in and I have no idea what happened to it Supa- there's some killer ideas in here for raw chaos. Lean into the musicality, don't be afraid to strip out some music and let one track of melody sing without another song's harmony to ruin it. Drive that kickass percussion and you'll be turning out several more bangers that aren't just "oh god what's happening here" lol
How Smooth is an uncanny valley type beat. It doesn't work but there's something there - Like every mixed track is close-but-not-quite-there to working, in a completely different way.
It seems to be missing just a lil something for me but a lot of those are pretty good! Also are the typos in the album cover on purpose? I'd expect it since it's "memories pulverized", some names are wrong (some of those idk so I could also be wrong. I just know The Offspring is spelled "Tha Offspring" and on the line right before, I assume what's supposed to be Santana is written "Sartana") Do tell me if I'm wrong though ^^;
my face hurts from having had my eyebrows raised for the entirety of this album. there are some rough edges here but man, the originality is something else!
I know you prolly won’t see this but could you do a play through of bleed please? I am trying to learn it on Clone Hero but the rhythm is hard and it would be helpful to see a play through ❤ Love the videos and smiling and dancing ty for all the laughs keep it up!
I gotta say, i didn't like any of it. I couldn't make it past the 3rd song. There is a difference between a "mashup" and mashing songs together. It was just a bunch of noise that didn't go together.
They just added an all taps modifier in the latest alpha build which should help. The whole roadmap for YARG/upcoming features is here: yarg.in/roadmap
I got ".--. --- -- .- .-. .. .-.. .-.. .- .--. .-. --- -.. ..- -.-. - .-. . ... . .- .-. -.-. .... ..--- ...--" -> "pomarillaproductresearch23" not sure what the first part means and I couldn't hear where the spaces would be, so probably "pomarilla product research 23"
Not a fan of this album tnh with the exception of the last track and maybe one of the earlier ones. Otherwise the best I can say about this album is that it's polarizing.
Thanks for playing my dumb mashup album Jason, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I promise this will be the last mashup album ever made to end with that overplayed Owl City track, ok?
good luck with that
So is that cover art just listing out all the sampled artists because that's super unique and awesome as an inspiration for that
@@chaxinitus yes!
@@ferrolad how did you do this two times in a row without thinking hmm this seems familiar? lmaooo
Presses X to Doubt on the Owl City Track xD
It really feels like a new generation of mashup artists is on the horizon. Things are getting exciting for the scene!
It it the start of a new generation. They first were only memes but now talented artist found the hidden gold mine in them and produce awesome music
So far it goes in my head, the eras are; Frus77sh > Bandipat > Rayne > Shan > TC > Supa. I know i missed a lot of artists but i can't think of them.
The Wonderwall/Sicko Mode mashup being paired with the N64 Peach's Castle venue was a trip and a half.
Remember, every copy of sicko mode is personalised
Just incase people were wondering...the text box under the song name/title is actually the album cover!
red hot chili peepers
And Sartana XD@@mac_sour

Wait I'm starting to think this is some sort of cipher, but I don't know all the bands names so idk which letters are wrong
Memories? Pulverized.
Hotel? Trivago
"Mom can we have Confusion by Ph0ton?"
"We have Confusion at home"
Confusion at home:
A bit rough in places, general Confusion feels and HUH moments, but there were some great ideas mixed in there. I thought the Blink 182 over the "gimme gimme"s was brilliant. Viewport was my favorite track, regardless of the overplayed samples used. Looking forward to the sequel!

A official, I’m drinking EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. A banger comes on. lol it was only 6 sips so far
Great ideas, but theres some pitch shifting issues. A remastered version to make sure the keys are coharmonic woule go hard.
never know!!
I hate how much I love Wall Mode
not even a minute in and this album is already a crime against humanity
This album kept constantly flipping between "Ay wait.,." and "Wait stop.." but man The DJ's High cemented it as a win for me, looking forward to more of Supa's work

I'm listening to this and every once in a while I'm like "oh I remember that song, it was amazing" and start playing it immediately, therefore it took me about an hour to watch this video, just so many memories brought back
This entire album was worth it for that Rascal Flatts one alone.
The DJ's High actually sent me like I can't even right now
that freestyle bit in the first track fingered my brain in a weird way and it was non consensual
Good to see you look to be in a good condition and back doing content again.
Appreciate that! Being slowly ramping things back up here on the YT side. Seems like I picked a good time with all the new Guitar Hero rumors flying around

The album equivalent of watching someone bend the pins on a graphics card motherboard slot.
Alright, who wants to be the super awesome person and tell us what the Morse code at the end translates to? I'd definitely give you a high five.
Memories Pulverized, the truths not even thought of, I've even forgotten every NAAME

so we're jasonparadise the banger mashup channel now? can't say I don't like it, these are fire
I had to stop about halfway through because I realized I wasn’t drunk enough for this

Oh boy we're packing them in super dense now
Wall mode was EXCRUTIATING because good 4 u actually WENT but the Wonderwall was absolutely intolerable.
11:25 "I feel like my brain is being turned into cake batter." Meanwhile the rest of us are just doing that SNL head bob.
25:50 This whole section sounds like adhd...
as someone with no concept of key in music, these all sound perfect

Idunno how I feel about Weezer, Blink-182, and Gorillaz playing over Take on me with Dialga in the background 😅😅😂

Jason's brain got Red Velvet Cakemixed over this
Three notes at once?
Bad chart! Bad! That's a bad chart!
I was starting to miss the charts like this. Good to see the game switchover didn't kill this type
and no I don't know how to describe what I mean by 'this type'
13:43 Thats just death grips now
This game looks WAY more up my alley than Clone Hero
I've always preferred the Rock Band bar notes Vs the Guitar Hero gem circle notes
What did just hit me?..
PERFECT SOLO
0 POINTS
YARG alpha needs to add solo bonuses back already 😤
Why do these work!?!!!
14:54 How did I manage to manifest Garnet?

truedat. this supathechest person should pay for their horrible commitment to the mashup community
Is this clone hero or another game?
YARG
Weird nitpick but why aren't the usstains giving points for hold duration?
Edit: 16:29 0 SOLO POINTS? Wtf?
The alpha build of YARG's new engine currently isn't finished and scores aren't being saved. Solo bonuses and such are still missing. Soon tho 👍
@@JasonParadise Also, when is Gamepad mode coming? I don't have any plastic strummers but I do have an Xbox controller that I use for Clone Hero.
