I think this a significant upgrade to Copywrong, as it doesn't have those moments where too many things are happening. Parts of Copywrong sounds like they were incredible ideas swamped with noise, but Something Else is an excellent example of lesss being more. Outstanding work.
One thing I appreciate - jazzw4ve never jumps the gun on the reveal. It's always a regular intro that just builds anticipation, and lots of the reveals are slowly dropped on you. I really like that the song structure gets you excited for what's to come, and then the interwoven songs in the background are just so goddamn well done. Props to jazzw4ve 🙌🙌
that's actually so true, when I first saw "Smooth Moves", I thought it would be Smooth and Moves Like Jagger. but they fooled me with the Smooth Criminal and Bee Gees, THEN brought in those two. fucking insane
"Around the world" kicking in felt like transcending. Holy shit. Smooth Moves was fucking insane, and Something Else is just... A masterpiece. Fucking brilliant work
On "Thanks for the Photos" , its sounds like the singer of The Offspring is singing Time of Your Life. Then, after that, it sounded like Kelly Clarkson singing If I Die Young
13:10 Been there I came across this album a couple days ago. Couldn't make it through track 2, but Jason makes it better. That ending though, holy hell.
Ive never been a huge fan of the meme charts, but these mashups youve been throwing on youtube just blow my mind, always a trip and so much fun to watch!
I legit had the biggest smile on my face while watching, like I did not expect those songs to work so well and be such a fucking bop in the process. Major kudos to jazzwave, man, super good
Holy... Man, Sweeter Dreams was SO GOOD. I knew it was Roundabout from the first cutout sound and, like, when Jordan came in I had a mini heart attack... Jazzwave does some amazing mashups, props to you bro.
Jazz learned and learned fast since the previous album. I mean the previous album was good too, but this is... well, this is Something Else. Sweeter Dreams did take a hot minute to "get into it" but boy did it finale. Comparatively, everything else just jumped right in. And it's like, everything is predictable but also *not.* Like I expected Shaniah Twain in Walkin' but got Daft Punk instead. I expected Warioware in Smooth Moves, but I got... well... no just listen.
By the by, anyone have the track list for Something Else? I only recognize the one song, but the keyboard/piano sounds incredibly familiar. Sounds like something out of a rhythm game but I can't pinpoint it.
The algorithm hating you is straightup wrong Jason ;) Always a great time whenever you upload. I remember the ONE time i managed to catch you live and witness you beating your first run in Hades. Good times.
I would like to know how jazzwave comes up with these ideas. What's the thought process if any at all? Do they just mash songs together until they find a solid base and build from there or is it literally just lucky accidents?
I think Something Else seems smoother than Copywrong because Copywrong tracks would have an, at worst, okay first half that would transition into piling so many things as possible at once into the second half it skips being muddy and straight to swampy. Something Else meanwhile has a lot less going on at any given second of a track which lets the components that are there breathe and sink in.
To Jazzwave: Happy Birthday. To JPara: Thirty three minutes of sick plastic guitar? Hell yeah my dude... Rock on homeboi! To the community: Never let me forget this vid. This is frickin' lit!
I’m genuinely confused. It’s like half this album deserves a re-listen, but half of it deserves an exorcism
In some cases, in the same track.
That is basically the definition of blursed.
How about we relisten to an exorcism?
> needs an exorcism
jazz: _literally creates a song involving summoning demons_ lol go check out Magenta
No, you have it wrong. They’re all guilty pleasures.
Bodies edited to sound like the DK Rap with "Here Here Here HERE WE GO" is just a golden touch.
Thanks Tarkus, you absolute unit
@@spartacus778 you're welcome, random citizen!
When is that?

That last song, "Something else", *almost* sounds like a really intense/emotional final boss fight in a game.
or the ost of a bad ending where everything is gone
"This is blursed, emphasis on the 'ursed'! I'm in a hearse!"
These bars further emphasize the need for a JasonParadise rap album.
"Around the world" kicking in felt like transcending. Holy shit.
Smooth Moves was fucking insane, and Something Else is just... A masterpiece.
Fucking brilliant work
I dont know if the name "GreenPlay" or "ColdDay" sounds better. They're both so good.
I like GreenPlay more.
Well you could listen to Green play on a cold day. :)
ColdDay sounds like a legit band name
Coldday is clever.
Cold Green could maybe work too
One last mashup goodness/madness before the new year. Cheers to ya Jason!
I wasn't expecting to learn today that "Hoobastank pitched up sounds just like Miley Cyrus", but here we are.
This was some incredible stuff, shout outs to Jazzwave for making these glorious mashups, and Jason for playing though them for all to hear.
32:24 This is where I turn into a typical RUclipsr and say- “YEA YEAH!”
This day in 'WHY DOES THIS WORK SO WELL!' we have Jazzwave once again bringin the heat.
This has been the greenest day of my life
I was literally listening to this album rn.
Granted it was on repeat for the past about 2 hours but still.
On "Thanks for the Photos" , its sounds like the singer of The Offspring is singing Time of Your Life. Then, after that, it sounded like Kelly Clarkson singing If I Die Young
32:25 THAT PERFECTLY TIMED ALERT MADE ME WHEEZE HAHAHAHA and right after i thought i recovered from the shock of how good these mashups are
Jazzwave is rapidly becoming one of my favorite mashup artists.
13:10 Been there

Walkin’ is my absolute favourite off this album. So good and adventurous. ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️
I legit had the biggest smile on my face while watching, like I did not expect those songs to work so well and be such a fucking bop in the process. Major kudos to jazzwave, man, super good
Walkin' is so blursed....thanks jazzwave
Edit: Wait WHAT with Smooth Moves
My man said "Wild Arms" and "PS1" in the same sentence and made me age 10 years in my mind
Holy... Man, Sweeter Dreams was SO GOOD. I knew it was Roundabout from the first cutout sound and, like, when Jordan came in I had a mini heart attack... Jazzwave does some amazing mashups, props to you bro.
Fantastic, both you having fun and the sheer madness/genius of jazzw4ve.
Biblically accurate mashups, simultaneously beautiful and terrifying to behold.
Happy Birthday Jazzwave!
This album deserves a standing ovation. Well done, jazzw4ve.
Excellent work again from jazzw4ve! And happy 21st birthday to her for when it was :)
I was so happy seeing the announcement for Something Else and couldn't wait for you/acai to play this one. It's so damn good.
Thanks for the photos... it's depression. It's fighting the suicidal ideation.
Fortunately, these mashups are a great reason to live.
1:13 Does this mean that PS1 is a JOJO reference?!
11:49 QUEEN?!
22:06 THIS WHOLE THING IS A JOJO REFERECE NOW!
I can't wait for Jason to play Magenta Album and be even more conflicted
Why does this all work so well?
It is a real boop and i love it!
15:32... *THERE'S AN ORIGINAL??* I legit thought the He-Man cover was the only one!
4 Non Blondes is the band! ruclips.net/video/6NXnxTNIWkc/видео.html
That was definitely something else even I wasn't ready for that bee gees drop
Jazz did stellar work on this album, i hope they have a great 2022 and continue with these high quality mashups
Ty for playing this and posting it on RUclips. I would have never discovered it otherwise. Bought the album.
and once again we get a hit outt-a-da- park. by the by, I also haven't been receiving many of your videos to watch on my feed.
smooth moves was great but sweeter dreams was definitely my favorite. it was so good.
Yeah, that one got an IMMEDIATE replay from me.
A good mashup is one that invents a brand new emotion for you to experience. This was that.
The male urge to hit the note and drop it.
Our collective confusion over these absolute V I B E S is the lunch I needed today. Thanks and Happy New Years ya filthy animals
It makes me overjoyed to see you so happy.
Jazzwave you kooky genius. I'm as bewildered as everybody else.
Jazz learned and learned fast since the previous album.

@@MetallicD3ath actually Something Else's instrumentation is all original!
@@jazzwave_ Oh, mb, I thought it was a mashup album, and I swear it sounded so familiar. Hey that's pretty good then-
Christ. Those last two were pure fire.
Videos like these are absolutely PURE JOY! love you man! :D
jazzwave has become too powerful, must be nerfed
jazzwave is incradable.
you cant stop me
@@jazzwave_ well what a Suprise, hi jazzwave nice to meet you
I'm a year late but this is a masterpiece to my ears
Walkin’ sounds so good! I never thought Green Day and Coldplay would go so well together
Absolutely wondrous. Great mashups across the board
Y O these mixes are dirty, I love this. Thanks for the upload, 'preciate this. I'll be listening to this for ages now hahah.
Oh I've been waiting to see you play this. This should be fun.
Happy birthday to the great and powerfull Jazzwave
walkin' gives me one/free vibes and i love it
Billie Joe sounding like his batteries are dead in Thanks for the Photos.
So awesome to see more people enjoying and even playing this amazing album
The algorithm hating you is straightup wrong Jason ;) Always a great time whenever you upload. I remember the ONE time i managed to catch you live and witness you beating your first run in Hades. Good times.
Thanks for the Photos is legit just every angel when a cowboy dies
I'm very drunk and very impressed yeye
When 500 miles came in I cried it was so good
Walkin’ is so gooooood!
The white tiger honestly gave me war of the worlds vibes with the verse in the middle and im all for it
Hells yeah. Cheers!!
Love your channel, love the mashups too
During White Tiger his strumming sounds SO OFF I don't know how we was hitting it with that. Like at 13:24
That was neat. Made me smile a bit.
Jason’s chat has the world’s greatest comedic timing
Thanks For The Photos is just beautiful.
Jason, loving your content. Here's your comment, part of the algorythm gang!
Quality. Absolute quality.
Buckethead in the second one absolutely gave me whiplash
Let's appreciate that Jason did the last solo with a thumbs up. Jason scoffs at two hands.
Not gonna lie when I say part of me was hoping White Tiger would be White Wedding and Eye if the Tiger
Also funny number comment weeee
..Hold on. If "Thanks for the Photos" is a breakup, not a mashup.. The note count in the chart is 606. That's just a 69 that split up, ain't it?
Jazz, I love these, they're very well done but something about the Photos song my brain just violently rejected it as soon as Green Day started.
Absolutely beautiful-
*Jazzwave You Are Goddamn Legend Thump up for U Good Job 👍🏻*
Yeah, I almost ruined my baking when Smooth Moves came on the first time. Genuine goddamn spit-take.
I was just about to ask if you'd done this album already! *MIND MELD*
Most of these were suuuuuper smooth, wow
I would like to know how jazzwave comes up with these ideas. What's the thought process if any at all? Do they just mash songs together until they find a solid base and build from there or is it literally just lucky accidents?
Jazzwave for president
Ps1 and Yes go together like PB and J.
It’s like a startup and makes sense because it’s the first track.
I think Something Else seems smoother than Copywrong because Copywrong tracks would have an, at worst, okay first half that would transition into piling so many things as possible at once into the second half it skips being muddy and straight to swampy.

These mashups are what would happen if FUSER was taken to it's technical extreme.
hey I was here! left before this section of the stream started but I was here!
The boot sequence also reminds me of Living On A Prayer, though i couldn't say why.
Art for the ears
Sweeter Dreams? More like Sweetest Dreams!! That went so much harder than it had any right to do XD
3:12 I thought I was about to hear waluigi pinball for a sec
To Jazzwave: Happy Birthday.
To JPara: Thirty three minutes of sick plastic guitar? Hell yeah my dude... Rock on homeboi!
To the community: Never let me forget this vid. This is frickin' lit!
damn that was really cool
Sometimes you don’t need to create everything, you just need to connect the dots to make the best solution.
Just throwing it out there 27:23 he totally tried like saluting and he totally hit his eye.
So good awesome music
Calliday is giving me big "Doctor Who on Holiday" vibes from Dean Gray way back in 2004.
I was expecting a Stranger Things joke with Sweeter Dreams but what we got is good too
16:52 If someone makes a Meme-chart of Jazzwave's songs, PLEASE replace the Hey-ya, with a YEA YEAAGHH.
