As a Christian i read the quran to understand why Muslims don't understand. It is a whole other teaching, wich you grew up with from kids age. You don't recognise the fall of man in sicknesses, death, greed, lust, selfishness, etc, nor understand that you too were made for God's image to walk in the same unselfish divine power and love as Christ and His first 12+72 disciples. Christ as being the exact image of the invisible God. In spite of Him explaining He is one with God and healing all, raising the dead, casting out demons, controlling nature, you still see Him as "just a prophet". You don't understand the reminiscing of sin by the innocent blood of Christ that is needed for God's Holy Spirit to indwell you again and change you in to Christlikeness. Walking in the same power and love as Christ and His friends did, and i and many Christians experience today. You think you're alright as long as you pray 5 times a day and do good works. Never experiencing Gods power, presence, healings, etc. Very, very sad. Muhammed came AFTER Jesus. He never understood God's resolve for mankind's fall and wrote another story, called it "the only truth", leading millions astray. Really heartbreaking. This is not a fight against flesh and blood, but about truth and being restored back to origin. You have to sort this out between God and yourself. Lots of love, wisdom and heavenly revelation to all...
What Is the Shahada? The Shahada (also spelled “Shahadah”) is the Islamic Creed, one of the Five Pillars of Islam. The word “Shahada” comes from the verb shahida, meaning “he testifies” or “he bears witness.” In reciting the Shahada, a Muslim bears witness that Allah is the only true god, and that Muhammad is Allah’s prophet. The shortest form of the Shahada would be translated: “There is no god but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” Longer versions are common, especially those beginning with “I bear witness” or “I testify,” e.g.: “I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” A person becomes a Muslim by reciting the Shahada with a sincere heart in Arabic.
Seems something of a pointless challenge. I spent 17 years in Saudi and often read the Islamic literature in our tea bar. Not sure if it was sanitised for us Brits but it said pretty much same as what little I remember of the Bible. I would still fail miserably to answer your questions though. Day to day we got on great with the Arabs but every so often an Imam would visit and give them a talking to in the Mosque and they would hate us for a couple of weeks until it wore off. My gut feeling is praying 6 times a day is brainwashing and that particular Imam just needed to pick at a scab that had not healed to stir up trouble. I don't have a problem with Islam, just pray once a week and you would be more able to think logically is my honest opinion. Some of my wife's relatives are Muslim and they are great. Their religion is just part of their life, it does not rule it completely. Not sure how often they pray, but I know they don't visit Mosque 6x a day. I never asked them, but I don't think they wanted the Jews exterminated either and I know that is how the Saudis felt.
I love the way you introduce tauhid of islam to others... May Allah reward you all

So why is it that all these interviewers have to be Islamic?

28,000 Muslims in Liverpool? Surely that's incorrect Liverpool is the least multicultural city in England
Bullshit ^ Liverpool has the oldest chinese community in Britain and one of the oldest black communities outside London
theres a couple million people in liverpool like so its a tiny percentage
The first mosque in britain was in liverpool it also has many black and chinese communities
Marc M Good, if the citizens are smart? They’ll keep it that way
Marc M what makes you think that? your wrong by the way
