John's guitar riff was not easy, and to play it flawlessly is an accomplishment on its own. Just another aspect of their collective genius.

One of the very best Beatles tracks, severely underrated for a hit song! It’s just so very 60’s in the simplest but coolest way possible. It encapsulates the feeling of being hip and groovy with it all:
“She’s telling all the world that her baby buys her things, you know. He buys the diamond rings, you know, she said so.”
It was a number one hit, so it couldn't have been underrated.

Such an incredible era for music. I was just a boy back then and I was compelled to learn to play the guitar because of them.. My grandmother from France, who must have been in her early 70s at the time, was absolutely head-over-heels in love with the Beatles.

Poor Ringo 😂in every video he either sits there, holds an umbrella, or rides an exercise bike. The Beatles were and are the greatest musical group of all time. They wrote and played the best music , it just flowed from them with what seemed like ease, pure talent. Like it was previously stated, they could look and act as goofy as possible but still were the coolest and best. I give a nod to the Stones next but the Beatles library is just untouchable. ❤️😊

"I Feel Fine" has been called the first hard rock song, and it was by accident that it achieved that level. The second note was unintentional feedback. I'm not sure if that actually occurred during the take we hear on the record or if it did previously and it was re-created for this take. But they decided to leave it in. Jimmy Hendrix was very inspired by that single note. Another Beatles innovation. When you're great, even accidents work for you.
happenstance when one of them leaned an electric guitar against an amp- but recreated by plucking the harmonic note with his thumbnail. Paul, I think.

I think this is their tightest song. Everything is perfect. They sing together perfectly, Ringos drumming is on point, the guitar riff... it’s just a perfect song.
Also the bass! While not the most impressive(it's just the root and fifth), it really drives the song!

This became my favorite as I was browsing in my local Hallmark store. It must've been just the right acoustics that stuck me, I stopped dead in my tracks underneath a ceiling speaker listening to a song I'd already heard dozens of times in my life. It was like ASMR. I can still remember the first time I heard this song shortly after it came out. Like so many of their songs, they just glued themselves into your head with their infectious melodies, rhythms and easy to remember lyrics.
Long after the fuss about the advanced production techniques on Beatles records has died down people will still be humming and singing their tunes. It always was about the tunes.
