By this time they were not writing together, but separately. Usually the lead singer tells you who wrote it, in this case, John who was writing about his troubles with this one and the next single Help which was very personal. By now Paul was writing more melodic pieces and john was writing reflective and ascerbically edged stuff ….( yes, I know Yesterday was all time reflective 😀) that’s the exception !
They’re the most overrated band in hx n tbh their most ardent fans r privileged jewy enthusiasts who probably got a piece of the madoff bankman fried scams ✅
@@patlaw398 ur critique is very fair actually. They r overrated. However, they were still a great band in a sense. They weren’t the greatest of musicians, but they could certainly play their instruments. John and Paul weren’t particularly good vocalist, but I enjoyed their singing. The song writing ✍️ was quite good. Although, they had some run ins with plagiarism. What set them apart for me were the recording and production starting with revolver and beyond. GM had a great vision for their sound, and the band played it. Obviously, no other band of the period had a fraction of the production budget. Had deep purple, the yardbirds, or even Donovan had the production budget, we would have had some more music of that class.
I'm a fanatical Beatlemaniac, super passionated, and very fond of them since my childhood when I was only 08 years old, my strong, deep connectivity, connection, proximity with this fascinating band with (THE BEATLES) It was for the my eldest brother named Daniel who was born in 1975 and knew everything about music and rock'n'roll, and then he taught me to love, to fall in love, to be affectionate with this English British band from the city of Liverpool.
That chemistry was the key ingredient that made the Beatles great. It was a weird chemistry. Lennon and McCartney both had exceptional artistic ability, and this created an element of competition. But it seems like they had a mutual respect, which allowed their collaborative instincts to prevent their competitive instincts from becoming a deterrent.
Its 2021 an still no band has ever come close to achieving what the beatles did. This song as so many others they did still stands up today. Just pure class RIP john an george
Queen are better than the Beatles in my opinion. Forget record sales. Because in the 50s and 60s there was no easy way to get hold of the recordings without BUYING THEM. Today the Beatles wouldnt sell anywhere as much as they did when you basically had to buy a record if you liked it. Now you simply download it FREE. So no recording artist will ever know how popular they REALLY are ever again. That's the REALITY of the music business now.

I love how John never failed to make Paul smile. I can't remember anyone else making him giggle like that. It was so cute. They loved each other, these crazy kids. 😊
Truth Indeed AMEN
Paul glancing at John was absolutely adorable.
It reminded me of a kid looking for quick approval from his father 🫵
ringo’s smile at 2:32 is all humanity needs
Ikr Ringo has such a heart warming smile!
01:40 I like how John can sing "yeah" without moving his lips that's talent.
The “yeah” came out of his mouth before it opened, that’s how talented he is
He surprised himself! 🤣
I love how self aware he was missing the yeah, so he did the most obvious fake "yeah" after.
It's cool how Ringo hits that top hat through 5 inches of air too
Yes and then how he can mouth "yeah" without making a sound. I think there was a fair bit of silent 'commentary' on the art of miming in this video.
I love how literally every single time John and Paul make eye contact they start laughing like they'd just seen the funniest thing in the world lol
Jordan Orenberg they made eye contact cause John said a “yeah” when there wasn’t one but then didn’t say “yeah” where there was

@@lisaparsons4124 Magical Mystery Tour
I totally agree. The greatest harmonies ever. I listen to them early when I wake up early. Great way to start the day
Dubbed together different takes while keeping up with the music and lip movements was a tough task back then and nearly impossible to get perfect at that time.
Still doesn't change my opinion on how great this song is.
0:48 - John thinks, that there is a "yeah" at the ending. He sings, but there isn't in playback.
01:37 - Jonh had learned his lesson. This time he doesn't sing "yeah"
But this time there is actually a "yeah" in playback
01:42 - Annoyed with this, John yells "Yeah"
Character development, lol.
Nice catch
What is funny is that he laughs but quickly gets serious after he finds out the camera is facing him
😂😂even the best make mistakes
that's hilarious lmao
1:35 Ringo's best performance
I just dying to funny but true.

Ringo is the coolest guy ever! The Beatles are simply the greatest band there has ever been!
If you consider that their music (even in present times), is loved by people of all age groups, then you will understand what I’m saying!
They practically wrote the modern song book
Era una banda grandiosa, pero sin jonh era como embarcacion sin timón! Saludos desde el Meta llanos de Colombia.
This is a great song -- lyrics, harmonies. But the more I watch this the more I'm mesmerized by Ringo. His playing is so minimalistic yet so spot on.
Yes. Quite impressive indeed!
His drumming on the "Help!" promo film is equally impressive! His umbrella-based drumming is truly something to behold!
Dude u cumin on or off a trip 🍏🌸
Man I will never get bored of the Beatles! I was obsessed with their music when I was 9 years old and I still listen to their songs with excitement every single time now at 33. Long live the Beatles!🤘🏻❤️🙏🏻

As a child I remember my dad listening to Beatles and in this The Beatles music and my dad are one in my heart and memories, I lost my dad 35 years ago and it still means the world to me.
That’s really sweet. Some of my early memories are of my dad showing me the Beatles and Led Zeppelin. I’m a musician now. He’s still around, but I cherish those memories.
As a teen of the 80’s I loved the Beatles, Doors, and Stones. My mom (who also loved them) thought I was mad! She said why do you listen to that old music when today’s music has so much??!
My dad passed in 2020 at 81 - I have the exact same feelings attached to this song. Funny how a song can be emotional glue like that.
so sorry...lost my dad 6 yrs ago...I still tear up, thinking of him..1 neat thing I have over my 5 sisters , none Heard dad play a ukulele ..AND PLAY IT HE DID!! he was talented ,unlike all of us kids. lol
Lovely memories.
1:16 - George checks to see that it's not him playing the wrong chord
1:36 - Ringo complete gives up trying to drum standing up.
1:54 - George sings his own song
1:57 - George says 'fight me'
2:11 - Ringo wants to go home
It was their joke. They did it in one take. The unsynchronized overdub was a bonus. What's funny is after 54 years you think George played chords!🤣
What's pretty consistent about these TV spots is that everyone looks really tired and unhappy about doing them.
Hahaha
@@matthewcuellar7879 and not only Beatles were like that😂
Ringo needs to go home by 9pm
The amount of amazing melodies these guys have written is mind blowing!
This has to be one of the best popular songs ever written....tight musically, searing emotional lyrics and of course, the incomparable vocal delivery...still makes my hair stand on end after almost 60 years...brilliant!!!
This is one of their best videos. Love the interaction between John and Paul! The knowing smiles tell the viewer that they loved writing and performing this song together!
I love that the video is a protest to backtracking. Nobody is try even 1% to act like they are playing its hilarious. Should have just let them actually play
Oh Yes, Truth Indeed AMEN 🙏
By this time they were not writing together, but separately. Usually the lead singer tells you who wrote it, in this case, John who was writing about his troubles with this one and the next single Help which was very personal. By now Paul was writing more melodic pieces and john was writing reflective and ascerbically edged stuff ….( yes, I know Yesterday was all time reflective 😀) that’s the exception !
Such a talented group. They’re making impacts even after the group has disband. Inspirational ⭐️

My grandchildren love The Beatles ♥️
The Beatles are the best band I've ever heard. They never took themselves so serious that they lost touch and that makes their music so relatable.
Yes I agree Beatles a awesome group alot of great songs may John Lennon RIP 💐 And George Harrison
They’re the most overrated band in hx n tbh their most ardent fans r privileged jewy enthusiasts who probably got a piece of the madoff bankman fried scams ✅
Nice critique
How can anyone not like the Beatles 😊
How can anyone not want to go to Heaven? Trolls always come with those who make a difference in this world.
I'm so in love with the chemistry between John and Paul
That chemistry was the key ingredient that made the Beatles great. It was a weird chemistry. Lennon and McCartney both had exceptional artistic ability, and this created an element of competition. But it seems like they had a mutual respect, which allowed their collaborative instincts to prevent their competitive instincts from becoming a deterrent.

@@fender1000100 Queen is mediocre. The only good thing about Queen is Mercury. Without Mercury, Queen is garbage
