Hello from Romania 🇷🇴 Verry nice job ! I am about to change my rear wheels bearings, new oil, new gasket from Felpro also, on my 2002 3.8 Pontiac Firebird 💪😎
This is probably common sense to most people but you never want to assume. If you have the car jacked in such a way that it’s super unlevel, it could affect the fluid level slightly. Probably not enough to matter, but food for thought!
Should really include what you used in the video such as gear oil type(I saw it but need to include it), what you used to remove the oil gasket, the new gasket. You know that stuff. But all in all great demonstration and appreciate showing everything and not skipping any steps
About a quart and a half, maybe a little more. Definitely buy two quarts. You want to fill it until it starts to seep out of the fill hole on the side of the diff

That's probably true, but I've never had a problem with it and it's been a few years.

Thanks for the feedback. This was one of my first videos I ever posted, I've been getting a little better every time.
Once installed do you have to let the rtv cured? And if yes how long do you let it sit before turning rhe car or driving
This project has been on pause because there was a boat in front of it. Now that it's in the water, expect a new TA video soon!
How much fluid did you put?
