You know what, I agree. I pray every day for patience, humility and love...every single day. And I'm going to pat myself on the back here, and I DO NOT do that often - if at all, but over the past several years of giving, sharing and doing everything I do for this "community" free and what I've been put through by members in this community, I'm going to give myself some grace and say: am I perfect at patience, humility and love? no I am not, but I sure have been slammed into the flames and hammered. Iron eventually is hardened into steel by being slammed in the flames and hammered long enough. :)

Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and experience in cross stitching. People who criticize should know that there is more than one way to accomplish something and you need to do you! I so agree with you on stitching with a larger needle, though I don’t always do it. Your floss will lay smoother because you’re not putting 10 pounds of thread into a one pound hole and expecting it to lay right. I have learned a lot from your videos and we all appreciate the time and effort it takes. You are never too old to learn something new. Thanks again for all you do for the stitching community.

Thoroughly enjoy your flosstubes! You are such a wealth of knowledge! Your Jesus is gorgeous and I’m sure your son in law was so honored that you gifted it to him when he joined the Catholic Church. I agree with you about people should stitch on what they love and not care what others think! I stitch one piece on40 count and while I did it I didn’t enjoy it that much. But the piece was for my oldest daughter that she asked me to stitch for her so I did. I think unfortunately the annomity that social media gives people, they feel it allows them to be rude and forget the simple basics of good manners.

I came across your FlossTube yesterday and I loved it! My husband is from the Plainfield IN area, so I enjoy finding stitchers from the state. I smiled when you said that you have become aware of how much of a stash you have and that you are going to use what you have rather than collecting more. I decided the same this year. I am 67 and have been cross-stitching since 1983. While I love going to cross-stitch stores and online stores and checking out new patterns and fabric, I have to ask myself "Am I still going to be alive to stitch this if I buy it?" (I am a very slow stitcher.) Thanks for sharing your use of larger needles with higher count fabric. Using 26 and 28 size needles frustrated me so I stayed away from the 40 count and higher fabrics. I will try again with a larger needle.

I LOVE your verbal message at the end of your videos about a smile on your face and heart. I watched this video last week, and I can't remember if you have give aways. If you do, you can add me to your HUGE list for the "drawings", but I can't remember what else to say. I always get excited when I see that you have a new video. I also appreciate what you said about doing things the way WE want to, that we don't have to do or buy whatever the "thing" is, or work on the "in" project. That is what made me drop out of quilting guilds , groups, and lessons, because I felt I didn't have the "right" or most expensive machine, etc. Thank you SO much! You are an AMAZING person, and I know your family adores you (so do your subscribers and "watchers")! Shelley in Colorado

Vonna, I so enjoyed your video this evening. And I was very happy to hear you pronounce Aida the way I was taught-I E da, not A da. People always give me strange looks when I say Aida, especially when I’m working at my LNS! I try to explain about the Italian opera and even will reference Aida Teagarden from the Hallmark movies, but they still think I’m nuts 🤪
And I just about jumped up and danced a jig when you discussed what size needles you use. My unpopular opinion is that people think you are a more advanced stitcher if you use the tiniest needle you can find. I tell every customer who asks that the needle had to open up the threads if the fabric to allow the thread to pass through unimpeded. Most understand and will buy the appropriate size needle, but others still roll their eyes at me.
I tell every customer that this is our hobby-it should be relaxing, enjoyable, and give us pleasure. Sure, there are some guidelines and basics everyone should know, but each of us need to find our sweet spot and enjoy ourselves. Thank you for a fun video; vacation pics were nice to see. Prayers for you and yours during the Lenten season.

Mrs. Pfeiffer, I so very much enjoy your flosstubes. I appreciate that you do not push or promote projects or businesses. I watch floss tube to see stitching and finishing. I also admire that you openly share your faith. I learn something from you every time I watch. I saw you on Fiber Talk discussing how you stitch and I immediately started stitching that way and love it. My thread doesn’t twist as much and it seems quicker but my thread seems to fray more. Today you discussed needle sizes. I was stitching on 32 count linen with a size 26 needle. I changed to a size 24 and the drag does seem reduced! Thank you for sharing your experiences and for your generosity!!

Vonna, I watched the unedited version of your latest flosstube. I was not surprised when I saw it taken down and edited. While you said nothing wrong, I knew you were wrestling because your testimony before the Father matters to you. As always, the negativity generated by others says more about them than you. What I saw in the first video was a woman who had an absolutely wonderful vacation with her precious family and wanted to share that joy with others. You are blessed, Sister. Stand up straight, straighten the crown on your head that comes from being a daughter of the King and walk on. Let God handle this battle. He is faithful! 💕

I just love you!! The kindness you show each one of us by sharing tutorials is a gift that I treasure since I don't have a local needlework shop. Your philosophy of stitch what you like on the fabric you like has taken the pressure off of my thinking I should be using linen or silk. I am retired and love to use Aida and evenweave with DMC. I would rather spend my money on lovely patterns. You also gave me the courage to frame some of my large pieces as I cannot afford $2-300 for a professional framer. Your picture of Jesus brought a tear to my eye, it is beautiful, and then to use it for such a special gift was just amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do.

Vonna, I so love your Flosstubes! I learn something from every one of them! (What a good idea about the TicTac boxes!). I remember when you stitched Jesus the first time and what a time you had- and how magnificent He was when He was done. You have me looking at my stored charts thinking about starting some of them. I simply adore you and your sweet, generous heart. Thank you for taking the time to make this! ❤️

Be you! I stitch the way you do...I did watch your video before you deleted it. The Lord made us all different for a reason. Love you!
