Wow! First time viewer here. When I watched you review your needlework stand, I realized what I have been fighting all along with mine...it doesn't tip!! I am always trying to get the angle right. So I immediately ordered one! He needs a helper to handle all the orders! I am retired with 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The first time I held my granddaughter, I simply breathed her..."Flesh of my flesh and bone of my bone." God is SO good! Thank you for a wonderful time together!

Wonderful updates, yes I did order the stitch stand, and I am looking forward to using it, as mentioned it really does address most of the problems with lap stands I have owned in the past. Loved seeing all of the items made for the new addition to the family, its always nice to be able to create things needed for the babies, I know I did quite a lot :)

I want you to know that you can get Isle Royal National Park by boat. There are charters available. While you're in Northern Michigan, visit the Cross in the Woods in Indian River. It's a real blessing and holy place. The gardens are beautiful. 😊❤
So much in your video to say “you are fabulous “! First, I hope your friend’s husband gets a patent on the stand. I also hope he gets my email and makes the stands for me. I know he will be inundated. Everything you do is wonderful and so demonstrative of what it means to be a Christian. You live it and don’t just talk it. Getting volunteers for funeral lunches is so hard to do. Women wear so many hats anymore and don’t have time to volunteer. I truly think there is a desire to volunteer. It is not because they don’t want to. I can tell you that being a grandma is just absolutely the best feeling in the world … until great grandchildren start coming! God truly loves us!! Prayers for your daughter-in law, expected grandchild and son!! So much more I could say! You are my favorite! Thank you for your time and talent and unselfish giving!

The nursery is adorable and is something that the baby can grow into. Just with a few changes, it can be a "big kid" room. You can always take a cruise to Hawaii since you don't like flying. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

Your grandchild is so blessed to have you and your whole family. Our son got married last year so we are hopeful that we will be grandparents one day. I made receiving blankets for all of my grandbabies. I made them 36" by 36", crocheted the edges with #8 thread. My daughters loved them because they were so much bigger than the ones that you can buy.

Dear Vonna, you made my day by sharing my Summer Moon by Plum Street. It was one that I stitched monogamously because I just could not put it down. I say I am a cross stitch carpenter as I love to stitch houses so much. I got tickled at all the new baby preparations...It brought back my excitement when I found out I was going to be a grandmother. That granddaughter will graduate from high school this May! What a lovely time you are going to have with that precious one. As usual I loved your stitching and I count Joanie as a friend( online) as well. She let me borrow a unicorn chart once and I have never forgotten that! Her husband will have lots of orders for that stitch stand. You can tell a stitcher designed it!!
I loved every aspect of your video, Vonna!! I saw that you had gone through skin peels and I must say that your skin just glows. You look absolutely beautiful!!🥰 A new great grandbaby will be arriving in May to our family. The baby is a boy and they will name him Liam Micheal which I really like. Your ideas for the burp pads is fantastic. I hope to make some for the new baby. I am making a quilt and I won’t see them until they visit in July so I would have time to make some. Great idea and so adorable. I love the new lap stand, and I hope to be able to order one in the future. I have a floor stand made by Judy Odell years ago of Just A Thought and it is still in perfect shape but I find that I like to stitch in bed (due to back issues) or in one of my chairs which have the swivel bottoms and don’t work with my stand. I plan to try to sell my floor stand and then order one of your new ones. Thanks so much for sharing all of information and the very thorough demonstration of the stand. I really think I would also love it. Your stitching wall is so fantastic, and I had to write down several patterns during your video from that and what you shared. If the Christening gown is bringing you stress it is really a good idea to go a different route for that; there is so much stress in our lives that anytime we can eliminate a stress it is totally worth it. I pray many blessings on you and your family and especially for the new little one that will be joining all of you. A little one is so precious and such a joy and a true miracle of life. Well Sarah, (I love your name btw - if I would have had a 5th child and it were a girl, Sarah it would have been)....I restarted the Baptismal gown yesterday after Mass....and I'm rather proud to say: I've done lace insertions and they have turned out pretty doggone good! Now I still have neckline and long sleeves and all that to go, but God is with me because I DO really want to make a Baptismal gown. I had a dream the night after I did this video and it was telling me to do the gown. So I am. Thank you so much for watching and your kind sincerity!

Congratulations on a new Grand baby. I have made numerous Self Binding Baby Blankets. I usually make both sides flannel. I make a pair of them that “match”. The pattern I follow takes a 40” square piece for the back and a 30” square piece for the front. I get 2 yards (72”) of 2 coordination fabrics. You get a 40” & 30” square of each piece, then swap the front and back., and you have 2 blankets with opposite front/back. Then when you square off the 30” piece you are left with approx 10-12” pieces that I square up and make little spit clothes. I sew one each of the fabric together, turn right side out and top stitch around the edge to close. Flannel is quite absorbent so I don’t think the spit cloths need terry. These are a Mommy favorite and a great shower gift idea. Your stitching is so beautiful, I loved the tour of your sampler wall and Santa of the Forest is exquisite, absolutely gorgeous, and he better win Grand Champion at the fair. I love to see your excitement about your new lap stand. So glad you were able to work with someone to get beyond what you wanted and needed. Hope to see a lot of stitching on that stand.

That’s an amazing stand! I’ve always had trouble with sitting comfortably with floor stands and lap stands, went thru a few, then gave up. Height is an issue for me as I have neck pain. Your stitching wall is beautiful!

I want you to know that you can get Isle Royal National Park by boat. There are charters available. While you're in Northern Michigan, visit the Cross in the Woods in Indian River. Everything you do is wonderful and so demonstrative of what it means to be a Christian. You live it and don’t just talk it. Getting volunteers for funeral lunches is so hard to do. Women wear so many hats anymore and don’t have time to volunteer. I truly think there is a desire to volunteer. It is not because they don’t want to.
I can tell you that being a grandma is just absolutely the best feeling in the world … until great grandchildren start coming! God truly loves us!!

I made receiving blankets for all of my grandbabies. I made them 36" by 36", crocheted the edges with #8 thread. My daughters loved them because they were so much bigger than the ones that you can buy.

Dear Vonna, you made my day by sharing my Summer Moon by Plum Street. It was one that I stitched monogamously because I just could not put it down. I say I am a cross stitch carpenter as I love to stitch houses so much. I got tickled at all the new baby preparations...It brought back my excitement when I found out I was going to be a grandmother. That granddaughter will graduate from high school this May! What a lovely time you are going to have with that precious one. As usual I loved your stitching and I count Joanie as a friend( online) as well. She let me borrow a unicorn chart once and I have never forgotten that! Her husband will have lots of orders for that stitch stand. You can tell a stitcher designed it!!

I loved every aspect of your video, Vonna!! I saw that you had gone through skin peels and I must say that your skin just glows. You look absolutely beautiful!!🥰 A new great grandbaby will be arriving in May to our family. The baby is a boy and they will name him Liam Micheal which I really like. Your ideas for the burp pads is fantastic. I hope to make some for the new baby. I am making a quilt and I won’t see them until they visit in July so I would have time to make some. Great idea and so adorable. I love the new lap stand, and I hope to be able to order one in the future. I have a floor stand made by Judy Odell years ago of Just A Thought and it is still in perfect shape but I find that I like to stitch in bed (due to back issues) or in one of my chairs which have the swivel bottoms and don’t work with my stand. I plan to try to sell my floor stand and then order one of your new ones. Thanks so much for sharing all of information and the very thorough demonstration of the stand. I really think I would also love it. Your stitching wall is so fantastic, and I had to write down several patterns during your video from that and what you shared. If the Christening gown is bringing you stress it is really a good idea to go a different route for that; there is so much stress in our lives that anytime we can eliminate a stress it is totally worth it. I pray many blessings on you and your family and especially for the new little one that will be joining all of you. A little one is so precious and such a joy and a true miracle of life. Well Sarah, (I love your name btw - if I would have had a 5th child and it were a girl, Sarah it would have been)....I restarted the Baptismal gown yesterday after Mass....and I'm rather proud to say: I've done lace insertions and they have turned out pretty doggone good! Now I still have neckline and long sleeves and all that to go, but God is with me because I DO really want to make a Baptismal gown. I had a dream the night after I did this video and it was telling me to do the gown. So I am. Thank you so much for watching and your kind sincerity!

Congratulations on a new Grand baby. I have made numerous Self Binding Baby Blankets. I usually make both sides flannel. I make a pair of them that “match”. The pattern I follow takes a 40” square piece for the back and a 30” square piece for the front. I get 2 yards (72”) of 2 coordination fabrics. You get a 40” & 30” square of each piece, then swap the front and back., and you have 2 blankets with opposite front/back. Then when you square off the 30” piece you are left with approx 10-12” pieces that I square up and make little spit clothes. I sew one each of the fabric together, turn right side out and top stitch around the edge to close. Flannel is quite absorbent so I don’t think the spit cloths need terry. These are a Mommy favorite and a great shower gift idea.
Your stitching is so beautiful, I loved the tour of your sampler wall and Santa of the Forest is exquisite, absolutely gorgeous, and he better win Grand Champion at the fair.
I love to see your excitement about your new lap stand. So glad you were able to work with someone to get beyond what you wanted and needed. Hope to see a lot of stitching on that stand.

Thanks for talking about your arm. I just had shoulder surgery. But my hand is still hurting. Doctor said arthritis was aggravated by stitching. I need to follow your lead and start using stands/qsnaps. I currently stitch in hand.

That’s an amazing stand! I’ve always had trouble with sitting comfortably with floor stands and lap stands, went thru a few, then gave up. Height is an issue for me as I have neck pain. Your stitching wall is beautiful!

Yes I will put your daughter and baby on my prayer list. Loved all of the video and the stitching desk or lap frame!! Saw the beautiful Siamese and I’m a Siamese girl my sweetie passed away in 2020 and my mama been going through
some medical issues and in hospice care right now she is 88 years old. Too much for looking for another Siamese right know but maybe later. But when the Lord calls mama home I will see her again. Thank You Jesus ❤️😊
